If I do an alternative upgrade, does it extend the contract 2 years on the line the upgrade was taken from or on the line that is getting the new phone?

Just keeps getting better for the VZW iPhone.
I understand VZW doesn't want to make the same mistakes as ATT did with the initial release of the iPhone. But they've had 4 years to make sure they wouldn't! đŗ

Question regarding deleting Apps
Or uninstalling them; I searched the forum but wasn't really satisfied with any of the answers so I'm wondering if I download an app and don't like it of Gawd forbid it starts messing with my phone how do you uninstall them?

Best Buy vs Vzn copr stores
this might be a no brainer, but here it goes. I went into a Best Buy and was looking at the Verizon phones and deals they offer. Best Buy phones are cheaper with a new/renewed contract but the warranty has me worried.Can one get a phone insured thru Assurion, without going thru Verizon. The prices are good, but can they-Best Buy- actually give better service? Everyone ,please reply..

Caller ID
I'm new to Verizon Wireless. I recently jumped ship from AT&T because my iPhone never worked in crowded places.
With AT&T, when I would call a land line, my name and number would appear on the caller ID. With Verizon it comes up as Wireless Caller with my number. According to Verizon service reps there is no way for my name to pop up on caller IDs. Why is it that AT&T can do it and Verizon can't? đĄ

I know that the Verizon iPhone will be a better phone. I am anxious to shed at&t.
By far, most of my activity on mine is done by wi-fi. Will the download speeds be the same for the Verizon version as it is for the at&t version?

NE2 Discount Upgrade + $100 Credit: What is my best option?
I am eligible for an NE2 Discount Upgrade + $100 Credit. It was effective 6/14/2010.
Right now, I can get a Droid X for free with NE2.
I would rather wait for an HTC Thunderbolt, Droid Bionic, or iPhone 4.
My questions:
-Is it worth using the discount and credit to stay with Verizon for 2 years?
-Which phone is the best?
-What would be the costs for the aforementioned phones? Will I have to pay more?
