Verizon Wireless Has no intergity and are scum

I wanted to let everyone who is still with VZW that if you call and demand a credit that they will have to provide it to you, every account is allowed one courtsey credit a year. So every one should take advantage of it.

Also, ask them what they are doing with the .35 cent surcharge that they are putting on every line, they have approx. 90 million customers and they charge every line this money that they pocket 90,000,000 @.35= 315,000,000.00 that they are stealing from their customers.

This company is a bunch of theives, nothing more.

BlackBerry Protect

Why is Verizon not allowing BlackBerry Protect to work on the BlackBerry 150 MB data plan? This program allows you to set it to upload only when it's on Wi-Fi, so what is the point? Is it to convince people to go to the unlimited data plan when there is otherwise no reason to do so?

Question about 4G plans.

When 4g plans and phones initially become available I'm wondering if it will be possible to buy in even if the service is not available yet in my area? I would consider upgrading to 4g even if I only have 3g in my location since it will likely be implemented within the two year contract period. I'm eligible for an upgrade soon and getting another 3g phone seems like a poor choice with 4g on the horizon. What say you?

Windows Phone 7 for Verizon

The word on the net is a phone with the Windows Phone 7 OS is going to be released this month in conjunction with the OS update that includes CDMA support. Perhaps the HTC Trophy...? Can any of you folks who are closer to the source confirm this and/or add more information?

Important question

I lost a phone and was offered a replacement through Asurion in which I paid $89 for it.

If I were to find it, is there any way that I can get it working again so that it can be sold to someone, instead of sending it back to Asurion?

What New phones?

Are Comeing to verizon. I've found the htc thunder bolt, droid bionic, and samsung i150 (i think that's the name?) Is that it? And release date's? Out of those 3 I'm leaning towards the bionic. But I'm researching before I decide.

What's the best texting phone

Brand new to the Verizon side as I am currently an AT&T customer but not for long. Here's my situation and needs. Wife and I will share minutes but need good basic phones that are known for having good reception as this will be our long distance. Would like full qwerty keyboard for texting. Pretty simple needs I know but that's about it. Don't need internet and no data plans need apply. Thanks for your ideas. 😁 Glad to have finally seen the light!!!

iPhone 3G internet troubles

I had to replace my iPhone today due to some anomalies with the internet. Just wanted to pass this on in case some of you are having the same issues:
I received my first Verizon iPhone soon after I preordered it online. Everything worked as advertised. A few days ago, my 3G internet stopped working. Wifi worked just fine.
I live near a Verizon store so I took the phone in. There was no service issue in the area, as other iPhones/Droids had been receiving internet just fine.
The only way we could get the internet to work was to Reset Network Settings. It would work until I turned the phone off, or established a Wifi connection then leave it.
My next step was to call customer service. After an hour of trouble shooting, she patched me to Ap...

Hot Spot Tethering and iPhone/Verizon

Just got the iphone last Friday. Really like it thus far except...

I am on the road (unfortunately in hospital mucho these days) and in past have used PDA NET with my HTC to tether. Was free to do so.

With iphone4/Verizon for personal Hotspot is 20 bucks a month for 2G. (this is over and beyond the normal monthly data plan fee) If you go over 2G another 20bucks.
Well, In a matter of days I had used 90%.

Hate to lose this phone and go Droid but need an unlimited plan or a cheaper solution.

Thank you for any help.

LTE iPhone to be an AT&T Exclusive?

Something has been really, really bothering me for a few days. Tim Cook said it and I think the rest of the world may have missed the significance of it. At the Verizon iPhone announcement press conference last week, a member of the media asked why the new Verizon iPhone lacked LTE compatibility.

Tim Cook said:
"Two reasons — the first gen LTE chipsets force design changes we wouldn’t make. And Verizon customers told us they want the iPhone now."

Part of me said, "OK, so they realized the phone is going to have to add 3 mm in thickness to achieve LTE speeds and not suck the life out of the battery....
