Okay, need some advice - verizon reps

I have a family share plan with just my wife. I would like to add a line for my daughter by porting over our home phone #, she is the only one that uses it anyway. The problem is this - I just started at a new job where everyone uses nextel, so I would like to port my cell # to them. So, in reality I still need two lines with verizon. Is there any way to port my # and not pay an ETF,since I want the same plan. Any advice?

8700 question?

I was in a CC today trying to compare the 8700 to the Maxx. I know that it was a dummy phone but was instantly concerned with the scratch potential. I know that you should use a case but who wants to own a stylish new phone only to cover it us with an ugly case. I need a new phone and am trying to decide between the two. Thanks in advance.

? ON TERMINATING CONTRACT

OK, I am currently on my own contract with verizon but my dad and his family has a family share plan on T-Mobile. So, my dad said he will throw me on for free saving me $50 a month. I know T-Mobile sucks but this is free so I don't care. My contract ends in August, my question is, is there anyway to get out of my contract now without paying substantial fees? I thought they prorated your contract or something now. How much would it cost me to get out? I have had a VX8100 for the past 2 years and am just dying to get a new phone as soon as possible, I know my NE2 is up soon but i'm gonna be canceling my contract. Thanks for the help in advance.

How do you set up new service with a first time cellphone for both of us each in neighboring states.

For calling plans that are applicable, how do you set up new service with a first time cellphone for both of us one here in easternMassachusetts so that I pay both monthly billings with the other in westernNewYorkstate ?... telephone area codes for 617 and for 716 respectively.

The most basic type of cellphones please only for talking,
one phone sent to me the other phone sent to my brother,
no cellphone special features, no calling plan special services,
no cellphone extra features, no calling plan extra services.

Verizon's 8830 is locked so that it can only be used overseas through Verizon's roaming service.

Verizon's PDA's vs. Sprint's PDA's

Verizon's PDA/Smartphones don't allow Bluetooth OBEX, while Sprint Does. Sprint disallows MMS on their PDA/Smartphones, but Verizon doesn't. Which is more important to you?

Help; I need...

ActiveSync!

i730 comes with 3.7 but doesn't support Windows mobile 5

Newest Edition (4.5) supports WM5 but doesn't support Outlook 2000 which is what I have.

Where can I find a version in between like 4.0 or 4.1?

Just got my Samsung i730 today

It's charging right now. Feels like a great phone. For those of you not familiar, the stock photos don't do it justice. It's an extremely attractive phone.
