I just started a contract job with Honda and found out I can not use my VX6700 phone because it has a camera..

So I am looking for a cheap replacement that does not have a camera..

Only features I want are a GOOD speakerphone and it to be small.

on the VZW website it says that this phone will have instant messaging does that mean a built in AIM program like Tmo uses or a Get it Now type of program VZW uses on other phones right now i have an 8703e and it has no instant messaging on it availiblr from VZW only 3rd party apps. thanks for the help if anyone knows please post

I used VZW quick2net for years after buying the mobile office kit for my V710.

However, I recently tried hooking my new KRZR up to my comp and dialing in. The mobile office software recognizes the phone, but when I try to connect, I get "error 691 - name and password do not authenticate".

I am using the following:
WinXP
Verizon Moto KRZR
Number: #777
Name: qnc
Pass: qnc

Does quick2net still work for anyone? Can anyone else help me? Thanks!

ok...this is going to sound odd possibly to some of you but I am going to put this out there to the group. I just ported over to Verizon 2 days ago from T-Mobile. I am on my 30 day test drive. I have the LG 8300 and I am going to be honest when I say this but I am not quite satisfied yet. Anyone know why? Yes, I am getting a corporate discount on my plan but I have lost minutes went from 1500 to 900 a month plan but with my corp discount im paying only a dollar more with Verizon vs T-Mobile but I have lost 600 mins. I am "pondering" porting back to T-Mobile and getting the unlimted mob to mob that they offer for 6.99. I just dont know enough people on Verizon. So I decided to make the jump and try a treo 650...i love the phone, and its been a big help in keeping track of my schedule.

So today, I'm driving and i look over and the phone is just dead...no power, nothing. I take it to verizon and they come to the same conclusion.

So basically I bought this phone a month ago for $150 and now I have a very nice paperweight. Dammit palm!

Can anyone tell me how I can get around having my computer to pair and be able to bluetooth beteween the two? It gets recognized but I cant bluetooth anything from my PC to the phone because Verizon has a lock on it. I tried that bitpim program but to complicated? Anyone have any unlock codes or other ideas?

I am moving to an area that is not picking up Verizon service, is that something I can talk to customer sevice about and get my early termination fee waived?

I am only the 3rd line on a 4 line account so they aren't really losing a whole lot on it, but is that an option?
