Okay, I am unsure about the pricing of this phone im looking at. I have a new every two coming up ($100 buck not $50) and I am on a family share plan. I am the primary number on the account. So, I want to get the Treo 700p. I plan on getting the phone over the net via vzw.com. The pricing math is below:

2-yr contract
2-yr contract price $499.99
Online Discount -100.00
Your Price $399.99

okay, minus a $150 mail-in rebate.

Then minus $100 from the New every two deal.

It will eventually turn out to be $150 after rebates and discounts and offers and other crap like that.

But when I return to the main "Smartphone" page I see at the top of the screen:

you know im surprised alot of people still dont know this, but the backup assistant program that backs your numbers up to the verizonwireless website is free now , as long as you have an account on the verizonwireless.com website, i really feel bad for people when they come in to get their phone replaced and cant get their phone book, so i hope this post helps alot of people out because to alot of people nothing is worse then losing your phonebook when it could of been prevented by downloading a free application on your phone.....if anyone has any questions about it feel free to ask

Am I the only one that is completely perturbed by fact that Verizon has the same firmware on ALL their phones - whereby killing the entire idea of CHOOSING a phone and it's "unique" functions? Now it's all about looks and nothing else.

I would switch service, but just discovered this after renewing my contract. The last resort would be to get a new battery for my old Verizon phone which was supposedly lower tech compared to this snazzy Samsung, but actually waaayyyy better because it doesn't have the crappy Verizon firmware on all the phones now. It's really killing the experience.

I have the Treo 700WX and I am looking for advice about the best bluetooth headset. I have tried the Moto H500 and the one from palm, and I get complaints about the sound quality from others. Has anyone found a headset the really like and works well? Thanks

.....the billing! They suck horrendously. On my Treo 700w, they have me on an unlimited data plan AND pay as you go. This is not the first time they've done this. I don't like getting yelled at by my fiancee for charges that I sure the hell didn't do!

Does the Env have the best camera/video feature out of all other Verizon phones, or is there a better one?

I have an LG 9900. On the back of my phone is a white sticker with prominent, very dark pink/purple X's. On the back of my battery is a white sticker with very small, very light pink X's. How do you know if your phone has water damage; what will these stickers look like? I am worried because my phone's sticker looks a lot different from my battery's, and I'm not sure what they would look like if my phone got into water. My phone got splashed, but not totally submerged. Thank you!
