LG SHINE? Razr MAXX?? Help!

Is this phone out? I read in another post that it is but I was just in the verizon store on Friday and did not see it. I really thought I was going to just walk in and buy the MAXX but can't really say it looked all that great. Can someone give me their opinion on what I should do? I have a PDA phone that works fine, just want a regular cell phone and not a PDA .

Best speakerphone??

Hi all,

Just wondering what your thoughts are on verizons best speakerphone. I use it in my car quite a bit and Im sick of the echo that the LG VX8100 has.

Im thinking either the VX8700 or the Motorola RAZR MAXX.

any thoughts?

Why don't I see the new phones Verizon has in the Company Store?

As I read the forums on the new phone introductions such as the LG VX-8700 and the Motorola MOTORAZR maxx ve, I try to see them at Verizon's Brookfield Wisconsin Store and neither are in the store or displayed? Store personal either don't know anything about the introduction or are vague with a date of arrival? Yet these phones are the rave and there is plenty of activity and ratings

I have held the type-s!

Well at least the demo unit and I have to say the type-V feels better. The size for the most part was the same and weight too but the screen is smaller, and the hinge seems weaker too. They confirmed that it will be a .3 megapixel (not 1.3 or 2.0). The buttons don't feel as solid as the V also. All in all, I was disappointed, I was waiting for the bluetooth but we don't have the law for hands free yet and by the time it is my NE2 will be available again so I think I'm going to wait. Now with that said I just got a new job where I don't need as tough of a phone so I think I'm going to go with the new maxx because it fits in the pocket better.

This just a poll so to speak

Just recently I was on the verizon site and i noticed they still have there push to talk phones avaiable but as we all know the ones they offer suck, and dont really have any special features, and I am assuming they havent made better phones to support that service due to the lack of customers with those phones. So my question is that if verizon made some more of those phones wit more features such as like a camera, bluetooth and all the otha good stuff we enjoy would any of you guys consider getting one?

Verizon new automated CS sucks

Has anyone called 611 yet and listend to their new robot sounding automated crap. I was so used to calling 611 pressing zero zero and instantly talking to customer care, not anymore. They have a new automated service that's just as annoying as any automated service where you have to repeat yourself! Granted ofcourse once i talked to a human all was well, but still 👿 👿

Vz choices?

I am looking for a small(not smart) phone for calls & syncing my Outlook calendar only. My old 815 is dying.

After determining that the new Maxx from Vz doesn't presently work w/ "wireless sync" and that I don't like the concept of leaving my PC on...I am looking for an answer until my constract runs out in Sept & I can switch from Vz.

What do you think of the Motorola RAZR V3m just for the next 4 mos?

My corporate budget affords me to trash the old Rzr in Sept.

where do your irate customers say they are going when your service isn't good enough? (like when you won't swap out an accessory w/o a reciept and the customer says "i am going to verizon, they dont treat me this way" (i work for sprint and verizon is literally across the hall from us.))

Insurance Question

I have a phone (the Q) that has gone crazy. It locks up, reboots itself, slow to respond to button commands ...
I do have insurance but how does it work? Will they fix my phone or replace it? Also, if they are unable to fix it will I receive a refurb Q or a new one?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Broken Motorola e815. Need some help please.

Well it's a very sad time for me. My e815 that I have had for about 1yr is slowly dying 😢 . It started when the buttons on the side to change the ring styles became really hard to press. It's to the point now where I have to jam them in to get them to work. Now the phone is getting horrible reception, even with the antenna up. I think the whole phone is calling it quits.

My question pertains to the insurance from Verizon. I currently have that on my service (apparently I signed up for it when I bought the phone but completely forgot). From what I understand I have to pay a $50 deductible and I'll get a new phone. Do I receive another e815 though? Since Verizon doesn't sell the phone anymore would they still have stock? Or am I goin...
