Americas Choice Select Calling Plans

Just got confirmation that these plans indeed will be available beginning this Sunday April 15th. The minute structure will remain the same but true Domestic Unlimited Text/Pix/Flix will be available to any carrier, not just Verizon. For those spending up to $20 for each line on their family share plans for text packages will benefit the most as it will include unlimited texting to all phones on the plan for one price.

KRZR vs. SLVR

I've tried the KRZR, but not the SLVR yet. I'd love to get the SLVR as a second line, but wanna wait a while before I do so. Which of the 2 do you think is better?

Does WiMax give Sprint an edge over Verizon?

Reference WiMax in Chicago aritcle in the Chicago Tribune 4/12/2007 - Sorry fellows I don't have the link. The article goes into detail about how Wimax could change the industry in a fashion similiar to the switch from landline phone services to wireless phone services only in this case with mobile data. The article suggests that many consumers would be willing to switch from their current internet providers to Sprint's WiMax if the speeds were similiar, the pricing competitive, and they were able to go mobile. Since there is not another company out there with anything in the pipeline that compares to Sprints WiMax, does WiMax give Sprint a much needed edge over Verizon and Cingular, specifically if Sprints offers lowpriced bundles that incl...

Please Help With KRZR And Sync To WMP11

I just bought 2 KRZR phones and have been on the phone with Verizon for the last hour. I want to sync it to the PC and put music on it but according to Verizon there is an error with the drivers, so I downloaded the "fix" and ran it twice like the rep said (because sometimes it doesn't work the first time... great), to no avail. I run the sync option from the phone but it says it cannot connect. I've already ordered 2 microSD cards for the phones... and I would like to get this fixed not return the phones. But if I have to I will. Does anyone know how to fix this issue so the computer will recognize the phone? Thanks.

Black Berry 7130 v. Q Black v. Pearl (?)

Is there a difference (upgrade) to the Black over Silver Q?

Should I just go with a Blackberry?

Wait for the Pearl on Verizon (if it is even coming)?

Thank you for your help!

Text messaging with verizon user interface

I recently noticed that the user interface is now the same on all verizon phones(except one). The text messaging interface is also the same on all verizon phones. I didn't care that much until I realized the VZW predictive text input method is called "word", this is short for "T9 word."

I was previously using a Motorola with itap, and 3 things I liked about itap were

1) it automatically updated the dictionary with frequently used words, slang, places, etc

2) it would autocomplete words for me with a simple press of the up arrow.

3) it gave a long list of similar words that I could choose from using the left/right directional pad.

A quick look at the VZW text messaging interface revealed that it was using the old T9 next k...

Quick Question about LG VX6000's Charging

For the past 3 days, every time I attempt to charge the phone, the light on the charger will turn red for about 5-10 seconds before flashing, thus causing my phone to not charge. I make sure to keep the phone off while I attempt to charge it, but since it's run out of battery life I can't even keep it on for more than 30 seconds. Is the battery dead or is the charger screwed or something different altogether?

Sorry to not have done this before....

I am Jackie... I am coming from a competitor, and moving into the light. I will start my career with Verizon Wireless on April 30, 2007. Any tips and/or suggestions would be appreciated. I come from being a a competitor for a very long time. So I feel like an infant again. 😁 Thanks in advance for any help you may give.

Question (PDA's) Verizon vs. Cingular

I've currently have been a customer at Verizon for about 6 years now. After the iphone and a few other phones I have been thinking of switching to another carrier. If I were to switch I was looking at AT&T of whatever it is called now. I'm not to familiar with the services and plans so I was wondering if that would be a good idea or not.

I'm in the market for a pDA/blackberry and Verizon doesn't have to seem much. Are any new ones coming out anytime soon? Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks
