A phone similar to the Ke850 with Windows Mobile 6? Sounds like Apple is getting even more competition.

well Im not surprised, since the phone comes out that same day, the samsung u620s. The pricing goes from 13 bucks to 15 bucks, not counting regular vcast, which theyll add to the 15 dollar tv package for an additional ten clams. thats a 5 buck reprieve. yay. or yawn, rather... but the tv thing sounds great.

a lot of people are already spouting that the channel lineup needs to be beefed up. I agree, but lheres the scoop. No one knows how the service will be embraced by the public. So the initial partner networks are the big dogs that can afford the loss if it flops.

I'm not sure about the cost with this service..If the only calls "to and from" this phone are "Verizon to Verizon" will my only cost be the daily 99 cent fee?

For tmobile and sprint their is an option when you get a text it says "You have a new message"

I like that feature hate the ring tones for text..

I have searched everywhere on my vzw phne get it now etc, and the only thing i can find is daddy yankee telling me " Hey yo this is daddy yankee and you have a new text" along with other various artists.

does any1 know of anywhere where i can get that simple, "You have a new message" alert on my 9900?

I am a employee at Verizon Wireless at one of the call center and just came across a site created by a few Cornell University students. It allows customers to download a program that resides in your system tray and alerts you via txt or email that you are at a set amount of minutes that you enter to let you know before you go over on your minutes on your price plan. I have calls all the time asking me if there is any way that we can alert them if they are about to go over on their minutes and I hate just telling them to do #MIN all the time on their cell phones because I wish there was another way, an easier way. This phone doesn't have outside speakers like my Samsung A930. If you are using the speakers with the flap closed how does the phone sound?

I can play music or use the speaker phone on the A930 with the flap closed and the speakers are loud.

Well guess what? I have a good experience to report.

I recently dropped and shattered my T Mobile Blackberry which meant I had to get it replaced. My administrative assistant suggested I take the Blackberry from Jimmy Joe, the guy who quit to take another job. Not being thrilled about that and knowing that Jimmy was in essence a slob, I resisted. She won. I have Jimmy's 7103e with its severely scratched screen and very unreliable shift button and sticky keys.

Today it became intolerable and I went into a VZW company store. They took one look at it and commented my account, had me call Customer Care and I now have a FRU winging its way to me at no cost.
That to me is priceless great customer care.

Just saw it at the Verizon store. Neat phone but the A930 gold BS is a joke.....who the hell would walk around with a phone that looks like that? Unless you are a gang banger or a pimp and wanna hang it from your neck. That is sad Verizon....wake the hell up!

After waiting for months for the Treo 700WX to come out I finally relented to my family and renewed my family share plan with Verizon about 4 weeks ago. We have 3 lines, my wife and son got a Razr and I got the free 325i. A few days before my 15 day return period was up I called a Verizon customer service rep and asked if I should return the free phone I just purchased so I could get the the Treo 700wx when it came out or if I could hold onto to the free phone until the 700wx came out. The Verizon rep said that I didn’t need to return the 325i and she would make a note on my account so I could get the Treo 700WX at the discounted price when it eventually came out. Great. I currently have the 650 and it has been acting a bit crazy for the last couple months. I am eligible for an upgrade but am unsure of what to do. I hear the 700WX is the way to go but I wonder if there is anyone out there who has one already that can answer a couple Q's for me? Here we go...

1) Have they improved the bluetooth at all on this model? Is there still a 3 second delay for call transfer unless you use the "wakeup" feature on your earpiece?
2) I obviously am using the Palm OS right now, is the OS in this model stable? What are the major differences from Palm to Windows on this model?

On the VZW.com my account section... it shows that after 22 months, I can upgrade my phone... I'm nearing that time now and I have a few questions

1. Does this mean I can go and purchase a new 2yr contract to get better phones? or do I have to finish out the 2 year until April?... it's very misleading... this 22mo count.

2. I know on this website it lists places like wirefly.com as a place to purchase phones.. Is that a good choice? or is it better to purchase in-store? I'm looking to buy a family plan with 3 phones on the contract.. wondering where the best deals are.

3. Will I be able to keep my old number? (as well as the other 2 phones on the family plan?)
