Billing Error

Good morning,

I am a Verizon user and have noticed on my call detail I get with my bill that every incoming call is marked with the call fwd feature. Is this normal? I have never used that feature.

it's war?

😈
does anyone else like having their ipod and cell phone seperate? like i said to my freinds. jesus if i lose my iphone, i lose everything..my ipod, cell phone, 👿 pda...

aside from that i loathe cingular..[i did have them and reception and customer service? verizon wins hands down.]

i do think it will be AWESOME to see the competing products veriozn launches in response as well as other compannies.

sprint,verizon, t-mobile...vs. cingular?

let the war product battle begin!

Verizon MediaFlo (Live TV) January?

Anybody hear this is launching soon?

MediaFLO USA Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq: QCOM), and Verizon Wireless, which operates the nation's most reliable wireless networks, congratulate the FLO Forum for its success in gaining official approval and publication of the FLOTM Air Interface Specification (AIS) by the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) TR-47.1 Subcommittee. The TIA's approval is a significant milestone in the progression of FLO technology's standardization and will help accelerate the delivery and adoption of mobile media services offered by MediaFLO USA to domestic wireless operators.

iPhone and LG KE850- Seperated at Birth?

Interesting. I wouldn't expect the LG to be as refined, but it does look very nice, and is touchscreen.

iPhone and Cingular rebranding

It won't affect VZW. BUT it WILL affect Sprint and T-Mobile. Anyone else smelling a Wireless Industry Duopoly coming?

Sorry to post question again but I need an answer

About the VZW per-text rate hike, can I cancel my contract without ETF, but still keep my line? Like I DONT want to cancel my line, but can I remove the contract without ETF and then
get a new phone?

I have 5 more months on my contract, but I want a Samsung i730 now. Can I call *611 and have them take the contract off for free (since no ETFs) and upgrade to the i730 online? That would be a lot easier than cancelling then siging again..

NAM2

Here where I live, there is a small wireless company [nTelos] and they offer a cheap unlimited minutes plan. Could I use a Verizon phone for text/instant/picture messaging [which nTelos lacks because it is a regional smaller carrier] and then put the nTelos line on NAM2 [nTelos also uses CDMA] and use that for my phone calls?

3gforfree

Why is Verizon Wireless the only wireless company that is not compatible with 3gforfree?

The main thing is I have recently been interested in getting ring tones, and I am upset that Verizon Wireless does not offer a way for its customers to get FREE ring tones.

Cool article about the durability of the G'Zone Rugged Phone

--------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------

http://fredericksburg.com/News/FLS/...12312006/247531 »

By MICHAEL ZITZ

When Verizon Wireless bragged that its new G'zOne Type-V Rugged Phone by Casio is virtually indestructible, we took that as a challenge.

And we set out to ruin it.

The tough phone is advertised as a water-proof and shock-resistant device for extreme-sports enthusiasts. It's the perfect phone for the sadist on your shopping list.

Casio made the phone compliant to military standards including exposure to temperatures in excess of 140 degrees Fahrenheit, extreme vibration, solar radiation, conditions set to simulate storm conditions of 2 inches of rainfall per hour with high wi...

Cisco might have lost iPhone trademark in '06

Interesting article:

"Apparently Cisco has more "iPhone" trouble in store for it than just that prior art dispute we mentioned yesterday. In order to keep a trademark alive, you have to file a "Declaration of Use" with the US Patent and Trademark office every six years or forfeit the trademark. On 11/16/2005 Cisco missed that deadline, but was granted a six month grace period, which it just barely squeezed through. Unfortunately for Cisco, a "Declaration of Use" requires demonstration of active use, under penalty of perjury."

why can't verizon 'link' calls?

i have friends with tmobile and cingular and whenever someone calls them, they have the ability to link the three of us together with just a touch of a button. I hate how whenever im on the phone, someone calls, and i click over saying "hey im on the other line with suzie, let me call you right back on threeway"

not many at all will jump ship for it

yeah since everyone is wanting to talk about the copyright infringing iphone i guess i will just put my words out there. no the vast majority will not even care about this phone. it will get hype which it deserves without a doubt. the ones that do care... a lot of them wont leave another carrier for it. there will be a few people that do but its not a huge number. the good sales people will know what to sell someone who wants the phone but are on other carriers. i would be surprised if they did grab the 1 percent they are shooting for. i like apple. dont own anything but i really like their products cause they push other companies to evolve and to get better. the phone looks cool, great features, but its a reach for them. high price, and som...
