1st question:

- I am eyeing up the Libra and i760. Is the Libra a smartphone or Pocket PC? I can't find any solid information... Also when do these two PDAs come out? I just saw March, but I thought Jan. for the Libra and this summer for the 760 😳

2nd question:

- If I add an additional line or upgrade my line to the PDA phone without a data plan, can I add the data plan later?

When can those of us that have PDA phones under Verizon have TV on their phones?

I have been having a problem with being able to hear myself talk on my 8300,8600,krzr.
when i was in the verizon store to pay my bill other people were complaining about hearing them self on the phone too.I thought it was my phone but i tried it with all 3 phones and they all did it.
while talking to some friends i found out they were having this problem also.
Can someone please give me some idea why this is going on?? i am in the rochester/buffalo N,Y area. this happened a few years ago too, and because of it i went to another provider. i really don't want to switch but i cant stand hearing myself.
I have done the *228 almost every day and that didn't help. I have power cycled the phone and that didn't help. I took the battery out...

Is it true that you shall have no BREW without QUALCOMM and no such apps are approved without the sanction of Verizon or else the DRM won't work on their phones?

If true, it sounds like what if Microsoft banned all Windows OS programs not written by them.

I haven't checked this out with a VZW customer service rep yet, but in an effort to save time, I'll pose the question here.

Background: We have a family plan. One of the lines was eligible for an early upgrade, so my son got a new KRZR a couple of days ago,along with an extended service contract, through Best Buy. He totally hates the phone, since he wants to get ringtones though outside sources and can't anymore. (He had a Moto E815 and could email tones to himself that weren't available through Get It Now.)

I did some research and decided to migrate gradually over to Cingular as each of our four lines' contracts expire.

If I return the phone within the first 15 days, will that void the renewal of the contract, or am I stuck with t...

Hey Guys,

I just got accepted into the Merits Program and I was wondering when can I upgrade to a new phone? By October 14, 2006 I will be finishing my 1st year with verizon. So does that mean that I can upgrade by this date or do I need to wait another year into the merits program to upgrade?

Im really interested in getting the 8600 for an alternate line (vzw employee secondary line $5.00 !!! ).

Anyway, really like the wallpapers and display themes that come on the chocolates (white especially - not sure if they are different). Is there anyway to get those hacked over to the 8600? BitPim?
