fifteen days

I got a LG 8300 from Verizon store last week. I don't really love it. Do I have fifteen days to decide if I like it or not? I think I really might want a 9800 instead.

what is "chaperone parent capable"

I was just poking around on the testman site and all those have this enabled now. Is this some sort of system where parents can monitor minutes/text more closely?

Pantech PN-300 on testman

This looks like a good competitor for the 3400 and 3450. However,

the hingle looks identical to the PN-215 and that is close to the one on the 8910, which is the phone I'm currently using and I dont know how it is on the 215, but the hinge on the 8910 drives me nuts!! Its loose, creaky, and weak. ๐Ÿคจ ๐Ÿ˜ณ

New Verizon UI .....

Right now I have the 9800 & I'm waiting for the 9900 to come out. So I haven't been in a brick & mortar Verizon store in a while. But I've been reading on here about a new UI. Is it standard on all new phone now?? I saw the 9900 pictures and it looked like it had a new blue-themed interface. If anyone has a phone with this UI....can u tell me what are the differences. Advantages....disadvantages??

Coming Soon to Verizon Wireless...

All right, I just completed an order for a Motorola Q, and I noticed some phones in my equipment matrix that were not there earlier. They are as follows:

Motorola RAZR Maxx
Motorola L7c
Motorola KRZR K1m in White
Motorola w315
Motorola Q in Black
LG VX9400
LG VX9900
Samsung u620
Pantech 820

Now, I have no idea when any of these phones are coming out or what the specs are for any of them. My guess is soon since they were just uploaded in the system. Also the Cherry and Mint Chocolate phones have a set date of Nov 22. Enjoy the tease.

Sprint is lighting the cellular world on FIRE!!!!

By Leslie Cauley, USA TODAY
More than one year after announcing plans to jump into the cellphone game, the USA's biggest cable TV operators, in partnership with Sprint, finally are starting to launch service.
Comcast, the No. 1 cable TV operator, later this month will add wireless to its offerings in Boston and Portland, Ore., says Sprint CEO Gary Forsee. No. 2 Time Warner, at about the same time, will add it in Austin and Raleigh, N.C.

Time Warner and Comcast confirm the rollouts. Maureen Huff, a Time Warner spokeswoman, says her company plans a "limited deployment initially, and a full launch over the next few months."

Comcast, Time Warner, Cox and Advance/Newhouse signed a 20-year pact with Sprint in November 2005. Cox and Advance...

Better reception - 6315i and 930

Does the 6315i get better reception than the Samsung 930 becasue it has an extendable antenna or does this not affect it much. I travel to fringe areas everyday and I need a good reception phone. Not talking about sound quality, just the ability to receive and hold a signal. Thanks.

Also please dont mention the 8300. I don't want it.

What is Verizon?

The problem is that there are THREE different businesses and the cell phone companies can't decide which one they want to be in. So they end up trying to finesse a compromise between the demands of the businesses and not doing ANY of them well. The businesses are . . .

Connection
Content/Services
Equipment

There is NO REASON why the same company should try to be in all three at the same time. IT DOESN'T WORK. The history of high tech is LITTERED with companies that tried to do it ALL. It NEVER worked and never will!!

Do you get your PC, your internet connection, your email and web-browser from the same company? Remember DellHost? No, of course not, because THAT division of Dell went bust. Remember Prodigy, Compuserve, GEnie? Did...
