Does anybody know if VZW will be selling the new Treo 750's or Blackberry Pearl any time soon? I am on my 4th Treo 700W, buying this was my biggest mistake. The phone keeps resetting itself, it freezes when trying to complete a conference call, When it freezes a soft reset wont work you have to do a hard reset which is a pain in the As- when you travel, I lose all my contacts and appts.
VZW is good a replacing the unit but the problem doesnt go away( even when I demanded a brand new unit) after 4 units I have to say there is a problem with the 700W. I asked VZW to send me a different model either Treo or Blackberry they told me NO!!! That isn't there policy!!! I spend close to 300.00 dollars a month with VZW i think its time to giv...

This phone is so ugly i wouldn't use it if it worked onhte moon....who cares if verizon has more coverage? Sprint had excellent coverage in the cities and suburbs....and IF i ever go into the boonies.....i'll roam onto sprint for that brief period....at least i'll have cool phones/toys....

Out of the three PDA phones, which one should I go with? I have a Mac so the 700p would work easiest but I can work around that with the 6700 and the Q. The buttons are tight on the 700p where as the Q offers better room and the 6700 has a terrific keyboard. Call quality and functionality are big sticklers for me. What are your suggestions and experiences with these phones?

I have been a Verizon customer for 23 months and was wondering which phone I should select. My needs are pretty simple, I have bad eyes (due to age) so a large screen would be preferred, I would prefer a nice camera and speakerphone, but the most important thing is RX. I live in a marginal signal area and only have a cell phone so good reception is imperative. Another nice to have but not necessary is SD slot for songs, and ability to make ring tones. I currently have a V710 and it is getting a bit long in the tooth. Sorry for the length...

sprint puts out cool phones like the blade, fusic, and een unique phones like the red razr......honestly if verizon put out phones like that i would sign up but i haven't noticed that big of a difference in coverage.....unless i decide to go hiking in the mountains or live on a farm....how oftern will that happen? lol 😎

Since crippled bluetooth has always been such a hot topic on here I thought I would comment on the Nokia 6256i i just got.

I spent about 235 full retail last nite at circuit city and it comes with the following:

Full BT
camera
MMC memory card slot
MP3 Player
streaming video
good camera
BREW
FM Radio
Extended Battery (1070 mA)

My laptop has bluetooth and I was able to download the Nokia PC software and drag and drop mp3's, wallpapers, sync with Outlook, transfer .mids (gotta love Foamy... Squirrelly wrath!!!) among some other junk.

Pretty cool and its a Nokia and it doesn't have the new VZW UI which is a good thing. Oh it sounds awesome too.

It seems like every other carrier is getting new PDA "Smartphones" and Verizon isn't.

I dont really like the Treo style, I am looking for something along the lines of the HTC style PDA/Phone.

Any news? Getting a bit antsy here...thinking of jumping ship. 😕

The only reason they do this is to keep selling the old stock to the less knowledgable consumers.

I bought the blade and it would shut off on its own. I brought it in to exchange it and no problem, the sprint store came through. Well the second phone did the same thing so I tried to exchange it for the exact same phone and they said no! I was so mad I immediately went to verizon to port my number over....they said i have 15 days to exchange it as many times as is needed.....seems to me verizon is more customer oriented....

Can anyone tell me the pricing on this phone?

I have a question. I am a new customer for Verizon and was told when I activated that V-Cast would be available soon where I live. Will I need to do anything to receive the V-Cast coverage or will my handset automatically see that the signal is available? My phone is V-Cast capable.

I need the retail prices of the following phones as fast as possible :

- Razr V3m silver
- Samsung SCH-a930
