I am suing Verizon because I have had it up to here with thier superior service. My cell phone always has 5 bars no matter where I go and this is so annoying! I never get dropped calls and I am frankly sick of it. Verizon needs to start selling crappy service like Cingular and the only way to force them to do so is to take them to court and sue them for proving me with the best coverage and service in the country! Will you join me?!

ok guys i just ordered the 8600 from CS!! I CANT BELIEVE IT!! i asked here is it the 8600 i was ordering and she said yes!! so i got it overnight and should be here by weds.!! total i paid was $280.72

The user interface that is now in place on all new Verizon Wireless Handsets is not creating the “buzz” that I am sure you and your team had intended. I am sure this topic has surfaced a few times in department board meetings, and you, as the CEO of Verizon Wireless, now need to step in to resolve this problem before it spins out of control. Either improve it or remove it.

Any word on a new Treo coming out by the end of the year for Verizon?

I have an VZW 6700 and am having a few problems.

1. I can not access my bank account website. I put in my account number and password and it just refreshes to the log in screen over and over.

2. At another website when i go to log-in it requires the log-in page to pop-up on a second window and again there are problems when i try to do that.

Any help on these situations would be appreciated.

There are some simple UI changes that Verizon could impliment that would make it a LOT easier on the eyes and would keep users from other carriers from laughing ;)


1. Get rid of that blue bar at the bottom for alarm, texts, missed calls, voicemail, etc... Put it up top where it belongs and where every other phone UI keeps it.

2. Speaking of that. The wallpaper should be stretched out to fit the whole screen with the icons on TOP of the wallpaper. (In other words, get rid of the bard no matter what color they are.)

3. Flash UI themes are cool. But if yer going to do them, follow thru. Dont just show the initial menu using the theme, and then show the submenu's in standard format.

4. On phones with smaller displays forget about ...

We have had record breaking rain fall here in WA for two weeks straight, I've been filling sandbags for a week and my waterproof brick has been put through the test, its been dropped in the mud and rain, and passes with flying colors. I've had so many people ask me about it, or wanting to make a call ,where to get one...funny stuff.

I knew it would be useful but damn, my hot chocolate break is over hope everyone is doing well 🙂

Personally I think the only thing Sprint has going for them is their TV add, the one where the guy pulls the gun, and slaps the Cingy dude in the face. Thank god for TiVo! I watch that 3 times everytime it's on.

The VZW add in the superbowl last year, where the guy gets dumped 'Hang on a min" DLs that song 'If you leave' Cracked me up. Always wanted to do that.

I know that there is a lot of bashing on this site (I'm guility of it, I know), but I just had a dealing with a really cool customer service rep that helped us straighten out a problem for a customer that could have been a complete nightmare for both the customer and I. So here is a big thanks to whoever it was. Hey, if were going to bitch when things go wrong then we should say thanks when things go right.

Went in today and got the new software upgrade for the LG VX8300.

Here are the changes I have noticed.

1. The Flash UI themes load very quick now. Almost no delay.

2. MP3 Player is totally wiped out. Cant even get to it with the 0000000 code. Music Settings are still there but says "NOT AVAILABLE", so now all my MP3's will have to be converted to .WMA's.

3. Still no support for veiwing texts or missed calls from the front of the phone.

Other than that i havent really noticed anything different.

I was hoping for a couple new UI Themes and the text/missed call problem to be fixed. Oh well....

Has anyone heard of what VZW marketing push may be this Holiday season? Is it just gonna be hot new phones...or something I could really get excited about like bigger peak minute packages...or unlimited text messages to all carriers...just wondering...

With the release of the Libra in January, do you think the 6700 will come down in price. if so how much. thanks

Hi, I c 🙂 urrently have the Jabra BT350. This is the 3rd one. My complaint is that about 50% of the time the person I am speaking with gets and echo.

My bigger complaint is that the volume is so low it's nearly worthless.

The help I'm looking for is a suggestion from someone that has had experience with a bluetooth that has a loud volume and theres not echoing.

I would appreciate any help. I have only used this one so I will rely on your experience, even though I'm a VZW employee.

If it matters, I have the chocolate.

Are there any hidden fees involved with call forwarding such as $0.25 per call that adds up to $200 at the end of the month? 🙄
