How much is your average cell bill?

I currently have a "Family Share" plan which is $49.99 + $9.99 for an extra line. If we never go over our minutes or use ANY service with a fee, the bill runs around $74 a month after taxes and surcharges.
The reason I ask what other people are paying, is because it amazes me how many add-on features there are available to pay for! Text messaging, music & video downloads, web browsing, navigation...and the list goes on. Sure, I'd love to do some of that stuff. But I don't want a $100+ cell bill. I'm just wondering what the "average" bill is out there.

LG VX8600 News....

😁

There are a few pictures and reviews of this phone over at HowardForums from people who have actually already ordered and recieved the phone.

From what i have read and seen.. here are some of the specs.

1. 3 Flash Themes. (All better than current themes on the 8300 and current Chocolate).

2. Larger Internal and External Display. (Internal is on par with the original RAZR in size but brighter and 256,000 colors. Outer screen is just as large as the old VX8000.)

3. The internal keypad lights up an almost white in the dark.. just a hint of blue.
(The keyboard also clicks for tactile feedback.)

4. Outside touch sensitive buttons light up an orangish/red.

5. Speakerphone can only be turned on after call is made.

6. Yo...

Nokia 6305i - Music Player?

In addition to the 6315i, I'm considering buying a 6305i from eBay. On the features page here, It says Stereo Speakers. Does this phone offer the same abilities as the samsung a930 or 8300 in that you can buy a mem card + reader and play your own music on it or strictly vcast music? thanks!

also, where are the stereo speakers located?

T-Mobile Reports Third Quarter Results

T-Mobile USA reported adding 802,000 net new customers during the third quarter 2006. The company reported customer churn at 3%. 😳 A Wireless Week article said, β€œWith Verizon Wireless and Cingular reporting postpaid churn of 0.95% and 1.5%, respectively in Q306, T-Mobile USA still operates at a significant disadvantage to its competitors.”

What is the big deal about SIM cards?

I'm new to verizon and first got the 8300 and now I also bought the a990, it only took me two seconds to swith phones using the esn changer. I wrote down the numbers big on a 3by5 card and put it in the rolodex...now I'm about to sign up for back up assistant, and will be able to sync contacts from phone to phone. I understand swapping the sim might be a little more convenient, but not much. Plus I read on this forum that verizon will be offering to backup all you contacts on their servers for free soon.

Verizon rep question....

Looking to see if a number is availible on your network, don't wanna go through the activation process and was wondering if someone could look it up to see if it's availible for me.

I didn't want to bring the thread you wrote this in back up, but no chance for the blue. I guess we will find out tonight if Loisville is going to lose or not. oh and go bucks.

Sprint has the largest voice network

Who Really Has the Largest Cellular Network?
Thu Sep 14, 2006 1:36PM EDT

You've seen the commercials. You've heard the debates. You can't go a week without hearing Verizon Wireless, Cingular, or Sprint claim to have the biggest or fastest wireless network in America... or sometimes all three of them!

So who's right? Who really does have the biggest cellular network in the U.S.? I put the question to the big three networks to find out how they make their claims and what data they had to back it up. (And while I love T-Mobile as much as anyone, its network is decidedly smaller in both coverage and number of subscribers, nor do they make such grandiose claims, so it was originally excluded in this survey (update below).)

For starter...

LG-8300 or GzOne -- or something else?

I've been reading reviews and have been to two Verizon stores to try to decide on a NE2 upgrade. I can't decide between the 8300 and the GzOne.

I know, I know, the GzOne is a behemoth. But I don't mind that, and actually I've lost two previous phones to water damage. It seems durable, I like the large screen and wide opening angle -- but I don't like the price so much.

The 8300... it seems pretty durable too, just non-submergible.

Does anyone have experience with these phones?

Sprint will have Nokia's in their lineup by 08

Nokia did state that they will be offering WiMAX base stations and handsets on both European and American frequencies; 3.5 GHz and 2.5 GHz respectively.
