text messaging overseas

is it true that new costumers can't txt message overseas. They have to wait like 6 months in order to be able to do that? One of the CS reps told me that, and i just lost a sell for 5 lines family share.

INSURANCE ON PHONES

Hello! I am with Verizon and I have the insurance on my Motorola 815. I was wondering how this whole insurance thing works. Recently I have noticed that the hinge on my flip part of the phone is coming loose. Can I send it in now before it completely breaks or do I send it in after it breaks? How long does it take to get it fixed or a replacement phone? Am I just without a phone during that time? Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks!

An internal site just announced the LG 8600 release date. It is scheduled to be released on November 15.

2 year: $179.99

It does come with speakerphone, unlike the Chocolate did when that was released

Best Cell Phone Cases?

Where is the best place to find good cell phone cases for cheap?
I really like the Verizon cases that you can get with a phone but they are way over priced.
When you can find them (Verizon cases) on ebay they are about a 3rd the cost, but you can't always find them there.

Any new phones in the works?

Here's the deal...my contract with Verizon is up in about 5 weeks. I'm 99% sure I'm going to stick with Verizon (my wife switched to Cingular through her work and really regrets it). I'm kinda torn because I like several of the Cingular phones better than those offered by VZ, but I don't want to get a "cool new phone" and find out the service sucks. I've looked closely at the phones VZ currently has and nothing jumps out at me. If I HAD to choose today, I'd probably get the Samsung A930. I like Samsung's UI and I need Bluetooth. Other than that, I just want a good dependable phone. Has anyone heard if there are any new phones due to be released soon by VZ? I'd be willing to wait a while if it's worth it. Thanks!

Verizon Subscribers Can Automatically Update Contacts

Plaxo/ Verizon offers free online contact sync between many desktop applications, which provides the data used by the BREW service. However the mobile service will cost $4.50 per month.

Problem is that all Motorola customers used to have this feature through Motorola Phone Tools for free, but the new phones, like the K1m won't work with the MPT program, at carrier direction.

So users that formerly backed up their own phonebooks can not in the future. I don't know how Nokia and others are handling the situation.

Online purchases - Package =?

When you purchase the phone online, and they ship it to your address in a box, during the work day when no ones home, they drop it off. If the phone sits outside in the cold weather for hours, will it damage it? Thanks

Water Mark

I keep seeing posts about a "water mark" spot on phones that turn red. Where exactly is this located? (I have a LG VX8100).

Don't use bodyglove.com for phone cases ! ! !

🀭

I ordered the bodyglove for my KRZR, becuase I drop phones like it's going out of style. They sent me a confirm with an order number to my email, they said they will charge my credit card when the item is shipped. Over a week later and no phone case or charge to my credit card even (thank god).

The customer service number they provide is a voicemail that sounds like it was recorded in a public bathroom and they never call back.

I know in 2 years my body glove will be shipped and my credit card charged. Any ideas where to get a case that fits properly?

3Q NUMBERS

Let’s take a closer look at our other industry-leading results for the third quarter:

We added a record 1.9 million new customers, a half-million more than our nearest competitor.
Our churn remains the lowest in the industry by far, at 1.2 percent; retail postpaid churn was .95 percent, under 1 percent for the third consecutive quarter and the key indicator of our customer loyalty.
Service revenues grew to $8.5 billion, a 16.5 percent increase over the same period last year due to strong data revenue and customer growth. Revenue was also up year-over year in our wholesale channel which serves our resellers.
Average Service Revenue Per Customer (ARPU) was $50.59, up year-over-year and up for the second consecutive quarter, driven ma...

Quick Question

When on a family plan, could the main number order a phone with the New Every 2 discount, but activate the phone with one of the secondary numbers? My wife is eligable and doesn't want a new phone, but I do.
