Getting owned music onto phones.

I think the new GIN service of purchasing music is great and handy. But how do you get music onto the phones if you already bought it previously?

I am getting ready to buy the K1m or the Chocolate and reading how you can't even put your own ringtones onto them, much less your own music.

A little help here, please

History -
been with Verizon a year and like the service. Recently married and upgrade to a family plan. Spent 3 hrs. in the the store getting my wifes number ported from sprint. After the untrained newbie can't set it up correctly a manager comes in. Thirty minutes later, my wife and I leave thinking all is well. Six months later, while dealing with my mother being in the hospital near death, I get several calls at my home phone from verizon. I think it's a Third party solicitation and put off calling back - Verizon would certianly call me on my cell if it was important(How wrong I was). Finally, after the calls won't stop, I get the time and call. Turns out I'm getting threating collection calls for an account I didn't sign up ...

New Fall Policy

Anyone have any news on this topic...when it will be introduced/available? This is old news back in June but havn't heard much about it.

https://www.phonescoop.com/news/item.php?n=1798 »

"This fall Verizon is set to make a number of changes to its contract and policies that have prevented subscriber from moving to another carrier or even to a different phone or calling plan on Verizon. Verizon will offer new contracts that will prorate the early cancellation fee for all new subscribers or subscribers who sign a new contract. In addition, the carrier will offer many changes to encourage subscribers to stay with them. Current subscribers paying at least $50 per month will be allowed to upgrade to a new phone at the new subscriber price aft...

Verizon's New TV Ad Violates Terms of Service?

Written by Christopher Price
Tuesday, 24 October 2006
Verizon Wireless has a new Motorola Q TV advertisement out. It shows the Q doing a lot of different things, including what appears to be streaming video.

Problem is, this violates the Verizon Wireless smart device terms of service. Under Verizon's terms of service, no data card, PDA, or smartphone can stream video over the network. Standard Verizon phones are permitted however to stream video over Verizon's V CAST mobile video service. Such a service is not available on Smart Devices, such as the Moto Q.

Per Verizon's BroadbandAccess/NationalAccess terms of service: "Unlimited NationalAccess/BroadbandAccess services cannot be used (1) for uploading, downloading or streami...

THIS IS SCARY

I just got a email on my VZW account, I had recently cancelled my service, and my bill total is less than the ETF, should I be scared? (As in am I getting overcharged for only using my service for two weeks of a billing cycle before I cancelled, an I am going to get charged later for the ETF).

New Samsung to rival 9800/9900

I had mentioned this phone a month ago or so, but the first pics are now coming out. I'm sure the first non-lg flash UI will get peoples attention. IT is truely the size of the original razr if you are looking for size comparison.

It have been just a few days since the first high-quality pictures of the highly desired LG VX9900 appeared online, but now here comes a device that may make you forget the successor of the V (VX9800) – the new Samsung SCH-U710 is small clamshell phone, with the size of a RAZR, which has dual-hinged design (resembling the D307, which Cingular carried before) with full QWERTY keyboard when in landscape...

What's a fair price for this?

I posted this in the 9800 forum but got no response. I have a brand new in the box 9800m that I am thinking of selling locally or on Evilbay but am wondering what a fair price is for something like this? I was thinking around $280. Does this sound fair and reasonable?

Please note, I am in no way trying to advertise this for sale here but am looking for suggestions as to fair market value as I don't want to screw myself out of any $ but don't want to overcharge a buyer either.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Audiovox 8900 Launch

The Audiovox 8900, Verizon's 2nd (Technically 3rd) Camera phone will launch on 12/12/2003. The pricing for Verizon South Area will be $99.99 after $70 MIR.

If you curious as to why I said "Technically 3rd" this is why.

LG VX6000 was the 1st
Samsung i700 Pocket PC Phone was Technically the 2nd, cuz it has a built in camera.
But the Audiovox 8900 is the 2nd "Handset" but 3rd camera phone.
