NationalAccess - i have proof

I have been told that I was wrong when I said that NationalAccess was DUN dial up like speeds on a laptop via the phone. However, this is from the description of NationalAcces as a feature:

NationalAccess

NationalAccess is Verizon Wireless' national wireless Internet service, which enables users to access the Internet, email, attachments, and business applications with a laptop at average speeds of 60-80 kbps and bursts up to 144 kbps. You may experience slower data speeds. Choose a Mobile Office Kit for your NationalAccess data-capable phone. Or choose a Type II modem card and increase your mobility when using a PDA or laptop.

Is the v325 reliable?

I'm debating between the motorola v325 and the nokia 6236i. I travel in Idaho and Montana and am guessing the analog reception of the v325 would be useful- but I just don't know how useful. After seeing quite a few posts here and there on the v325, I'm concerned that I'll get a problem phone. The nokia has much less negative feedback, and I trust it would be a good phone. The consensus is that their reception is similar, which is my first concern. Thanks

BAD NEWS FOR LG VX9900

I talked to a guy at Verizon Wireless today and he said that he has been made aware of the LG VX9900. So then I asked him when it will come out. He said APRIL OF NEXT YEAR ๐Ÿ˜ณ. Now I don't know about ya'll out there but that is BAD news to me! I want that phone so bad! No offense to my current phone, the Motorola E815, but I'm tired of it! I've had it for a year and I'm sooooo ready to move on. HURRY UP VERIZON AND GET OUT THE 9900! ๐Ÿ˜ข

Who Makes Verizons Phones?

I'm going to upgrade in about a month & I've been researching phones & was wanting to read reviews on the Verizon phones too.

A little history,,,,
I travel to work through the country & it has many fringe areas...
I loved my 815 but it just wouldn't pick up in those areas whereas my old Nokia before had no problems, I guess because it's a Tri-mode.
So I'm going back with a Tri-mode.....

As of now I'm thinking of the V325, the reviews are been great on it.....

Reception wise only, what's the best out there?
The all digitals may work good for you city folk but they just don't cut it for us country hicks.

3 Year Contracts = VZW's Answer to the Cingular Threat?

The Good:

More discounts on the equipment!

Free bonus minutes for the term of the contract that make the plans even a better deal than Cingular's!

A better deal than even New Every 2!

The Unchanged:

Still no rollover...
Still no 7pm nights...

The Bad:

More complicated upgrade rules for customer service.
More oportunities for error in Point of Sale data entry.

Motorola Q vs. BlackBerry 8703e

I was wondering which ones you guys like the most of the two. I would be using this phone for organizer and a phone. I'm not sure if i need a camera or music player. Which one of the two do you guys like the most?

2 questions

1: On the Verizon website browsing at phones, how do you get the 1 year contract price?

2: On the 360 RAZR view, the external display is black backqround with "Verizon Wireless" written. However on the older gray v3m its a white backqround with just "Verizon" written. Does the silver have a slightly different software than the Gray?

A few questions-

1) I know you can upgrade a line at 22 months. Can you also cancel that line at 22 months?

2) Online, can you buy a Motorola Q, or do you have to do that instore?

3) Whats the return policy for online? If you want to use Worry Free Guarantee, do you ship the box back or can you do it at your local VZW corp. store?

4) If I buy the Q and it breaks at 1 year into my 2 year contract, can I replace it for a refurbished one fro $50, or is this if you buy insurance?

**NOTE- Please use blockquote when replying, or restate the question so I know what you're talking about.

THANKS! You all are so much help

Is Streaming Video Allowed Now?

From PCS Intel:

Verizon's New TV Ad Violates Terms of Service?

Verizon Wireless
Written by Christopher Price
Tuesday, 24 October 2006
Verizon Wireless has a new Motorola Q TV advertisement out. It shows the Q doing a lot of different things, including what appears to be streaming video.

Problem is, this violates the Verizon Wireless smart device terms of service. Under Verizon's terms of service, no data card, PDA, or smartphone can stream video over the network. Standard Verizon phones are permitted however to stream video over Verizon's V CAST mobile video service. Such a service is not available on Smart Devices, such as the Moto Q.

Per Verizon's BroadbandAccess/NationalAccess terms of service: "Unlimited NationalAccess/Br...
