White Chocolate

I don't if the pictures for this phone were released or not, but the phone looks terrible. Maybe it was just the lighting, but it looks horrible.

Return of Kyocera to Verizon?

Anyone know if/when Verizon will again offer Kyocera phones for regular service, not PTT? My terrible two years with a POC Motorola will be ending in April and I'd like to go back to Kyocera. Thanks!

i'm sure this question was asked one million times but...

i'm sure this question was asked one million times but, does anyone have an idea when verizon will be releasing the VX8600 aka chocolate clamshell. the reason why i'm bring this up is because i am due for a new phone and the one i was using before broke. so i'm pretty much using a phone that is 4 or 5 years out of date and it's annoying. if anyone has some actual details, that'd be great. I feel as if they would release it before the holiday season but then again, the chocolate was not released too long ago either.

Best network ... but worst phones

Where I live (Eastern Shore of Maryland), Verizon is hands-down the best network. But I am sorry to say it offers the worst lineup of phones.

I am eligible for my upgrade now, and to be honest I'm having a hard time finding something I like. I don't need fold-out keyboards, I don't want an MP3 player, and I could care less about a "business card scanner."

What I want is something anywhere near as useful as the Audiovox 9900 I have, which is crumbling and on its leg after two years of hard use. I really wish Audiovox had made a follow-up to this one.

Checked out the GZone today, and, whoa, is that one massive phone. Still, compared to the rest of the flimsy, expensive plasticky lineup, it may be my only option.

Are there any phone...

Verizon Wireless Data Plans - Family Share

Hi- I am currently on a family share plan at $60.00 + $5.00 text plan + 9.99 for the 2nd line = $74.99 plus tax.

I would like to get a PDA phone like a Motorola Q or Treo, and am curious about data packages and family plans.

I would like to go with the $45 data plan with 450 minutes a month and add a second line, just for phone use. Is it possible to do this with one having the data plan and one not, and paying for this data plan and adding a line?

Or, do I need to ust stick with the plan I have and pay the $45 extra a month for the unlimited data package?

Thanks!

In my opinion

There are two companies that are starting to stand out and break away from the pack as far as ability to change and adapt to the changing world. Those two companies are T-mobile who is only a few years behind Verison. And of course Verison itself. Verison will remain strong throught the next twenty years easily. And T-Mobile hasnt even hit there stride yet they are still a teenager in a adult world. But in there defence does anybody remember when Verison was T-mobiles age thy were horrible. So I say to Verison keep up the good work. And look out because in another 5-8 years T will be right on your tail network wise and for the network that will be a huge problem. 😎

Verizon offers daily subscriptions to V Cast

"Verizon came up with a new way to spark interest in their V Cast mobile
content services: Offer a daily subscription to it for $3. While the price
may seem high given that a monthly subscription is $15, I think this will
lead to more VZ subscribers giving the service a go and also may lead to a
new business model of pay-a-day mobile content users. While a lot of
potential users today would not use mobile content services every day, they
may wish they had them in certain circumstances: a long train, bus or car
ride, for example. V Cast includes music videos, TV show recaps, movie
trailers as well as news, sports and entertainment programming. "

What do you guys think? Will this help Verizon's struggling data?

VCAST Music Help

so when i try to sync my krzr to windows media player 10, it starts the conversion at 0% and doesnt go anywhere. they are mp3 files but they dont convert.

i have the 8300 and it didnt convert, then i tried the krzr and it didnt convert. but that krzr ended up being DOA so i tried it on my new krzr and it doesnt work. ive gone through all the settings in WMP 10 and i cant find anything to help it.

it does convert certain cd's though. all the music i am trying to convert, i have downloaded the scallywag way (pirating if you didnt get that). but some cd's it will convert with no problem but i dont want those cd's on there...

anyways if you have a solution to my problem i would appriciate it a lot! thanks!

which free phone?

I'm a rep for a verizon agent and they're running a contest this month. whoever has the most acts per location gets their choice of any verizon phone(minus pda's) for free. I'm wondering which one I should get and if I should activate it, or sell it on Ebay. I'm leaning towards the samsung a990. any opinions?

Some Help Here...........Please!

I have a Moto E815, which I have never had a problem with. And I think Verizon's service is the best ANYWHERE!
My contract is up this coming January. And yes I plan to stay with Verizon. I am interested in getting a new phone. But 1st let me tell you what I don't need. I don't need it for music, navigation, or data. Once in awhile I might text, but mostly I use it as my only phone. (I got rid of my landline in 1996)And by the way I used Verizon while I had two tropical storms blowing 50 to 70 mile per hour winds and I NEVER DROPPED a call, WAY TO VERIZON!!!!
I am interested in getting a phone that did everying my MOTO E815 did, but can do it any better. Does anybody here have any idea what might be coming out in the next 3 to 6 ...

Question

If you add a data package to your account can you just cancel it anytime you want? or are you committed to paying on it through a two year contract?

I hope this question isn't asked daily and won't make you people mad, just trying to figure out which service is best for me.

Thanks
