Bluetooth headsets- real outdoors/wind.
I mean real outdoor conditions- bicycling at a normal rate, up and down hills and roads in Maui with typical Hawaii wind. 25- 30 mph wind.
I tried everything. The Plantronics Voyager 510 worked ok in light winds, so did the Logitech mobile Traveler. The Cardo Scala 500 was ok in a breeze, like the rest up to about 8-9 mph.
Unfortunately none had any volume to hear soft spoken folks, like my wife's assistant or my 84 year old Mother, who likes to hear about my cycling escapades.
The Plantronics wired headset worked well with the Samsung 650 or 670, as these phones have auto level control giving...

Ringtone Issues, Help Me Please ! ! ! ! !
I have searched/read all over this forum but cannot find "specifics" on how to get ringtones from the Transflash over into the internal phone memory ( using the method of sending it via a phony phone number). Can someone give me a detailed step-by-step of "where/how" to load my ringtones (most are polyphonic TV show theme music, using MIDI format) up thru the time it is actually sent ?
I downloaded the ringtones from FreeRingers.net to my laptop, loaded them on the Transflash card with my card reader. But then I get stuck, as far as having the "specifics" as far as getting them loaded as an actual message, then how to send it so I can load it to the internal phone memory.
I know ...

Auction 66 - What are your thoughts - Winners/Losers?
That doesn't mean just because TMO acquired allot of spectrum they were the winner nor does it mean Spectrumco spent allot of money they are the winner. Who got the most bang for their buck? I have my opion but lets see what other in the industry think.
I will be posting this in other company forums. That way the trolls can give us their rediculous takes multiple times.
I saw a link the other day that showed what smaller companies were bidding for larger companies. Does anyone have this info?
Have fun!

Motorola Q vs. BB 8703e
I'm not interested in the internet access or e-mail capabilities but I badly need a phone that has good software for personal productivity and document management. I work full time and go to college full time so I need to stay organized. Also to be able to view word documents would be great, so I can read my typed up notes while im on the bus.
I played around with the T-mobile BB8700 to see how the 8703e was gonna be like, and I was really impressed. Very simple to use and the included applications were nice.
The Q on the other hand seems like the total package. My boss and a bunch of friends have it and like it a lot.
Also, as I said before, I'm not going to sign up for a data plan. I do however have a t...
