I am done..........

After having my 2 last phones be a piece of sh!t....and having verizon tell me they would upgrade them a month early, and then tell me I have to pay the 1 year renewal (considering I want the 2 year contract) ๐Ÿ˜ณ , for I don't know what reason.

After 10 years of being a loyal customer, I have decided to switch carriers. Any suggestions on who to switch to?

Get Q or Wait?

I called Verizon today and then said I can get the Q for $314, 25% off of full retail with two year contract. My first question is if I should wait til November 12 to get a phone. Or should I get a Q now. One of our stores rep said that the Q in Black will be out this month. Should I wait for the Black Q?? Also I heard the 9900 is cool but I dont like to open the phone for QWERTY I just want it right there. Thanks!

RAZR V3m versus LG VX8300

After reading forums on both phones I am still not sure which is the better of the phones. All I want to do with the phone is talk, txt message, maybe check email, download ringtones, customize wallpaper. I don't need to play music since I already have an iPod. I have always had Motos so a LG is totally new for me. The salesperson at the Verizon store was very helpful but I want to know what the actual phone users have to say about it.

T-Mobile VS Verizon VS Cingular

I have been with qwest for three years, and they suck! So now i am looking into Cingular or T-Mobile. My roommate has had Cingular for three years with no complaints, but my girlfriend has T-Mobile and the only complaint was that recently the entire network shut down and no phones worked.
The guy at Cart's swears by T-Mobile and showed me the JDPower website that put T-Mobile at the top of EVERYTHING for wireless.
My problem is cost. Cingular is the same pricing as Verizon, but has a 50% off the phone and 25% off the bill per month plan for Boeing employees. They also have rollover minutes, and a fairly good plan. They offer 1400 minutes on a family plan right now for $89.00 while T-Mobile only offers either 1000 minutes for $69.00 which...

8300 question/problem

I just upgraded from the v6000 (great phone but lousy camera) and so far I really like it; solid solid build, comfortable in the hand, greatg pics, haven't done the BT thing yet or the MP3 but can't wait. Just one thing though, it turns off the screen after 60 seconds even though I set it to "always on" and I'm wondering if this indicates more problems and I should return it (still in the 15 day grace period). Thanks for any help.

Car kit support hacked out some more cars

Verizon has reduced the car kit support on the new high-end phones again.

Take a look at the 'Support Matrix':

http://support.vzw.com/how_to_use/bluetooth_car_kit. ... »

Now, in addition to lacking Object Exchange and Opject Push to move contacts to the cars, they have removed Synchronization as well from the high end phones.

The new phones only support 2/3 of what the V3c/m did.

Look at how short the Chocolate support list is now, since the BT Synchronization profile was pulled.

Why?

What will be motorola's replacement for the e815

I have an e815 and love it. I wanted to get one for my son before school starts and I guess I waited too late and the phone is now discontinued. I have had motorolas since the original star tac and would prefer a model similar to the e815 for him. The V3 seems a little fragile for him and my wife's V3 does not have reception equal to my e815. Does anyone know if Motorola is coming out with a phone in the near future to "replace" the e815? If not do I switch to an LG 8300 or another model. I want a sturdy bluetooth phone with vcast because he uses the internet access all of the time and I do not want just the mobile web option (such as on the V710) because that will rapidly eat up minutes. Thanks.
