Just Watching a Doc On September 11th 2001

and do you think the cellular community has overcome the communication block that happened that day? ie-over loaded circuts

i know we now live in a world that only cares about what is going to give us a faster data rate ev-do or umts, but seriously think about all the men and women that didnt get to say their last good byes to their loved ones beacuse of overloaded circuts.

No tolerance for Prepaid customers

I don't know what your guess policy is on pre paid customers but we are not allowed to accept checks from any of them regardless. I think this is kinda harsh I could understand if we had to verify funds or somethin, but no tolerance. I think this is kind of discrimination based on credit level which is kinda crappy what do you guys think?

Need Advice

I currently have the LG VX9800 and am having nothing but problems with the phone of late. I just returned back to school and the phone will not work. The *228 to update roaming seems to make it worse. My roommate has the motorola 325 and never has problems so I know it's the area I'm in. My question is on waiting for the new line of phones to come or not? I don't know what verizon would be if anything. I was waiting to see the size of the new VX9900 but I just saw the pictures of the LG 8600. Need any and all advice. Thanks.

Activating Phone

I need some help here. I recently bought a phone from someone and tried to activate it, but Verizon said that the old account is still active on it. And that I should contact the person to tell them to call Verizon and cancel their account. But I can't seem to get a hold of that person. So I don't know what to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

It still works, but I can't ota I do not know, any helpful info would help. Thanks!

V8300 question

Love this phone!! And the camera is very nice, clear pics and good color with little wash-out because of glare. Just one thing I couldn't get out of the book: what is the Night Mode for?
Thanks

BroadbandAccess Connect

I there a list of handsets posted somewhere that shows what phones are available for the tethering plan?

The official page on the b2b site only shows 5 phones, two are not available anymore according to that site:

Anyone else have a problem with LG VX3300 screwed up call logs for dialed and received calls?

I am having several problems with my cell phone. It's a LG VX3300 from Verizon.

I got a LG VX3200 for free for renewing my contract in October 2004. That phone lasted until the late summer of 2005, when I started to have a lot of dropped calls and high minutes and bills.

The phone was replaced with a refurbed VX300 in October 2005 after a little haggling with Customer Service, but alot of haggling over my bill.

That phone worked OK until December 2005 when the phone started dropping calls alot and my bills in Dec2005-Feb2006 were outrageously high. The phone was replaced with yet another VX3300 in February 2006, and it took about 3 months of constant hassling with Customer and Financial Services to get my bill reduced.

Now I wa...

Need Info!!!

I was thinking of purchasing a Motorola q for my son. I no that it does not have Wifi, but I know that it has evdo. My question is if I got the q would I need a data plan to visit website and check my e-mail? Or could I just get the 5-dollar mobile web and surf the internet and check my e-mail? If I can do that than what is the purpose of a data plan????

Thanks for any input!!!!

data plan

Is there a way I can get a Q or palm without getting a data plan?

I just want a Q or Palm so I don't have to carry a phone and my palm pilot around.

I have no need to check email or such. I just want a light load.

Thank you!

What happened to Bluetooth Synch?

Everybody knows about Verizon's flip-flopping on OBEX, but what about tye good old Synch profile? It was on every BT phone since the second release V710.

My wife wanted a new phone, so I picked the Chocolate, which had BT and the same profile listings as her V, on the website so we bought that, little to know that the Sych profile that was on the V was missing from the Chocolate, so no PB transfer to my BMW. Why no Synch on the Choc is beyond me, so we returned the phone for a different LG and it works on my BMW but now not her Lexus.

Verizon's new policy is "Check with the car manufacturer." Sorry, the car manufacturers don't have a clue as to how to manage interoperability with Verizontooth.

Now, the National Automobile Dealers ...
