Motorola Q V.S. Treo700w

Okay so right now I have t-mobile and have the new sidekick 3. I am debating on returning it and ending my service with T-Mobile because everyone i know has verizon and the service sucks but here is the down fall I will be almost doubleing my cost per month from betwen 90-120 with t-mobile to about 165 bucks with verizon.

If i do switch i need to know which phone would be better for me the TREO or the Q... I do need to be able to use AIM and to link my school email and other email accounts to the phone as well my other concern is the battery life!!!

Dealing With The Wireless Industry. Pt. III: Out For Blood

👀 I have to be careful because with the lawsuits going around I have to be careful so I don't get sued. Seriously though those case is gonna get settled in no time at all. On to more interesting stuff, I recently ran across a post on another website where a customer said that all cell phone reps only care about making a sale and not the customer.

This stuck a cord with me, being a independent agent myself, and hearing this made me mad but also had me thinking is there any truth to what this guy is saying. I enjoy making my customers happy with their purchase even if its a small sale because I know they will come back or bring more business my way. Yet there are a few bad apples in the bunch.

So this question is for all the ag...

Cell Phones produce enough radiation to cook an egg.

Need A Cooker?
Use Your Cell Phone
By Sue Mueller

Many organizations including the cell phone industry often downplay the risk of cell phone radiation to the brain. Results from short-term studies were used to convince consumers that use of a cell phone is not associated with brain tumors or cancer, which only develop decades after exposure.

To be fair, no one knows exactly how much harm a cell phone can do to a person. Howe

Recently, new media has reported a study showing the radiation from cell phones is so full of energy they can be used to cook eggs.

In the experiment, researchers placed one egg in a porcelain cup (because it is easy to conduct heat), and put one cell phone on one side and another cell phone on t...

Plan Change - Can This Be Done ??

Hey everyone...I have a question and I would like to know my options...

My wife and I have a family share plan. Her part of the contract (primary)ends next week while I still have 1 year left(secondary) on my 2 year contract because I had to replace my phone 1 year into out joint contract. Replacing my phone because it fell into the pool "extended" my contract 2 years.

My wife wishes to get a individual plan now. Will she be able to ? Also, if she can and does, can I sign a new 2 year individual plan also or will I have to abide by my current contract ? If so, what will my my cost be without my wife ? I hope everyone understands the question ...

Home / Landline?

Several years ago cell phone companies had a home device that you put your cell phone into and you could use it and extensions as you would a normal land line phone. Is there anything like that out there now?

Ok, no joke, some customers are so hard headed.

I jsut had a lady come in that has come in every month for the past 3 in a row when she gets her bill.

3 months ago when she fist came in mad her bill was $250, she was on the 59.99 fam shared plan for 500 minutes, her daughter had just gotten out of shool and started using the phoen all day long, I advised her to change it then to the $109 plan to cover her daughter. Ofcourse she didnt becasue it is "$50 more expensive", she just wanted me to take the charges off (which I didnt).

2 months ago came in mad with her new bill for $750 becasue of her 12 year old daughter was still talking on the phone too much, once again advised her to change the plan to avoid future overages, ofcourse she refused becasue she wasnt going to go over again...

Activation fee

I'm a indirect agent as you can tell by the name. I know corp has some stupid policies and things that they wont let agents do like NE2. But how long has VZW been waving activaton fees for customers that have there own phone? I called a corp store and I pretended to be a customer and "Sherry" said yes she can waive the fee. Does anyone have any info on this?

Looking for opinions on the next promotion....

So, I missed out on the Buy 1 get one free deal for the 8300 that was going on about 3 weeks ago because my new every two wasn't available until this past Monday.

I've been checking the website compulsively for the last two weeks or so to see when this v315 deal is going to expire because I'm on a share plan and my wife and I are both looking for a bluetooth phone.

My question, to those of you that are either employees or are simply more obsessed with this stuff than I am... any guesses on what the next promotion will be? Any thoughts as to whether or not a bluetooth phone will be the next "get 1 free" deal?

In a worst case, does anybody know when this current deal is going to expire?

I understand that there's information you em...

What happened?

This might be a dumb question and lots of people probably don't care but... did anyone else experience a "down time" this morning from about 8:45am to 9:10 am(central time)? We couldn't make or receive calls from any of our handsets or even the old tracfone we own that operates on vzw service in our area. It kept saying all circuits were busy. Does anyone know what could have caused this and if I should expect more of the same nonsense for today? I live in southern IL. Thanks.

Samsung SCH-a645

Has anyone heard anything about this phone for Verizon? I've found info on different sites about this phone being released for Verizon sometime this year. However, there is nothing on Phone Scoop about it.
