Will verizon ever pull their head out of its big dumb corporate butt and offer an unlimited text plan. Not unlimited to IN users but unlimited to anyone. Sprint can do it why can't verizon get on the ball here? 🙄

Hello, I just purchased the Pioneer DEH-P980BT car stereo with built in bluetooth kit and I'm having several problems:
1. It doesn't connect automatically when I get in the car (even though it is set to connect automatically).

2. The phone book won't transfer over. Every time I click "phone book transfer" the phone disconnects from the bluetooth connection.

3. I can't use the "voice dial" feature.

Does anybody have any advice? It is the same thing as the DEH-P9800BT so if you have that and it works let me know.

I have software version 04 of the V3C and it is set up with a hands free bluetooth profile.

i was wondering if i bought an unlocked SLVR if i would be able to get service for it with verizon.. i dont know much about unlocked phones just wondering if it was possible. becuase my contract is up this month n i want the SLVR but dont know when its coming to vzw... so if u could gimmie some insight on unlocked phones i would appriciate it!!!!! 😁

NEW YORK -- Verizon Wireless is once again upping the ante when it comes to customer service. Speaking at the Yankee Group Wireless Leadership Summit this afternoon, Denny Strigl, CEO of Verizon Wireless, announced that the company will become the first carrier to pro-rate early termination fees (ETF) for customers who choose to leave Verizon Wireless before their contract expires.

Strigl says the company will pro-rate the fees based upon how long the customer has been with Verizon and how close his or her contract is to expiring. The new policy will begin this fall.

Please forgive me but I've had some other emergency-type things to deal with over the last couple of weeks, so if this is old news, I apologize.

I just learned recently that Nokia's participation in CDMA technology is going the way of the dinosaur due to its failed pairing with another manufacturer (Samsung, was it?) I kind of thought with the release of the Nokia 6256i, this was the start of a good thing. Apparently not good enough, however.

I'd love to hear the direct and indirect people weigh in on this. One of Nokia's big plusses is the user-friendly interface for folks who are technophobes, or at least, somewhat intimidated by technology. It sounds like the plan is a done deal, but I'd still like some reaction to all of this.

im using the regular pop retriever, and whenever i get new email, it replaces the old ones... meaning i cant access them at all. does anybody else have this problem? is there a setting or something i need to change?

I'm really upset with the lack of quality control in my Moto bluetooth headsets ... I've had (no lie) over 10 different headsets (820 850 and 700) and it seems like its a crap shoot ... you can get one that sounds loud and clear .. and another of the same model and its volume seems to be way lower .. I've had no less than 5 Moto 850's connected with my phones .. and some were all great while others terrible ..

Take my 815 which I've had with verizon since it came out .. I had 5 different 850;s hooked up to it and 3 where loud and clear .. connection was awesome and 2 that were low and hard to hear .. the connection seemed to be unphased but the volume of the piece was way lower

As well when I tried to connect those to my Cingular phon...

For all u that work at Verizon, which corporation offers the best corporate discount. Specifically does Cisco offer any discounts off a phone, I know that they offer %ge of bills?

Can anyone help me decide. I like that the razr is small. I really like that with the samsung you can make and answer calls with the phone closed using the speaker. I am not sure about the black though. Thanks for any input!!

I just got my new LG VX8300 yesterday. I like it already.. just wondering something. I think I read somewhere that certain features on this phone have been locked by Verizon. Is there a way to unlock them? I have seen all sorts of advertising on the Internet about unlocking phones so they do everything the manufacturer intended them to do, but wondered if it would affect my service or harm my phone. I'm eligible for my New Every 2 Upgrade on July 3rd and i absolutely cannot wait to get rid of a phone that has caused me nothing but problems.

My question is pretty simple...are there typically 4th of July specials (or even better yet, are there any planned this year) that would make it wroth it for me to upgrade my phone on that day? I would not be changing my service level, but I am planning on purchasing the Moto e815 and a bluetooth headset.

My daughter needs to text to a Cingular person. What is the cheapest non-"IN" plan?

I'm looking at upgrading my phone next week with my NE2 discount. Will the 15 day trial period on phones still apply when I use my discount? For example, I'm specifically concerned about the phone's reception and syncing contacts with my computer. If I have trouble with reception with a specific phone or trouble syncing contacts what's the policy on swapping the phone out for a different model?

Are there any "catches" i need to be aware or afraid of?

i just purchased the q with the unlimited data and my internet seems rather slow... its taking quite a while to load up digg.com with the show pictures option de-selected... this is my first experience with mobile internet so am i doing something wrong, is there anyway to check my speed?
