I may be taking a sales job with Verizon corp. Any pros/cons to working for Verizon? Any info would be appreciated! Do you get an employee phone plan? ect?

I very much want to switch to cingular at the end of the summer, because verizon just doesn't have enough towers in my area. Cingular gets full reception at my house, while verizon gets 1 or 2 bars.
Here's what I need to know though. At the end of august, 3 out of 4 phones on our family contract will be eligible for upgrade. So I assume this means that they are out of contract. I was planning on paying the early termination to get out of another year of verizon. Here's the thing, after 3 of 4 phones are eligible for upgrade, I would only have to pay early termination for the one that's still on contract, right?
Also, how much is early termination? Is there a way to get out of it, like trade my old phone back in? I have an e815 in gr...

I was wondering if it is possible to be added to a family plan as an account holder (two account holders) or as an authorized user.

If only as an authorized user, what can the user do? For example, is it possible to change plan/phones, etc.?

Went to a verizon store and talked with someone about purchasing two Pocket PC PDA's.. I believe it was the 6700's


So Family plan with data..

With 700 minutes and data it was going to be around 160.00 a month....


The data plan was around $40.00 per phone....


Does verizon have any other data plans that are unlimited and inexpensive...

We ended up buying a couple of phones at Sprint (better pricing and 30 day return) Only problem is the phone doesn't work that great in my wifes work place...

Sprints data plan is 16.00 unlimited data for the first plan and 8.00 for the second phone..

I do not currently want to use the phones as modem.. Hel* Verizon wanted...

I got the Motorola v325 over the weekend, and it is not a very good phone. I had read the reviews and asked here in the forum and it seemed to be a good phone. The reception was very poor. Has Motorola gone downhill? So it is going back. I guess I will wait until some new phones come out. I just need a phone with excellent reception. I dont care about the camera, bluetooth etc. I guess that is why Verizon is giving the buy a phone get up to 3 moto 325 free....they want to get rid of the pieces O' ****e!

I'm eligible for upgrade in two weeks and have pretty much decided on the Moto e815. I know it's an older phone but it has all the features I need and most importantly it syncs with my Mac. I do have a few questions I was hoping someone could answer.

1) I'm very interested in VZ Navigator and noticed it's not currently offered on this phone. Any idea if this functionality will be available in the future? Is it a software update or is it the phone's hardware that limits it?

Can somebody give me step by step instructions for making my own ringtones from the music on my computer. I already have the cable, I have the driver, and I havew bitpim, but I just can't figure it out. Please help, I can't afford to buy ringtones until 2008 when I can upgrade!!

my hearing isn't great and i'm finding it hard to hear people on my new vx-8300 even when the earpiece volume is turned up. i love this phone and this is the only thing preventing me from keeping it past the 15-day trial. i had a vx-6000 and found the volume to get much louder than the 8300. in quiet conditions it's fine but when i'm in a semi-noisy setting then there's no chance i'll hear the other party. anything i can do? please help!

I have a problem and was wondering of someone could give me some advice. I purchased a new phone and added a line for my sister to be on my account. My sister has decided to get a cell phone from another company.

I mistakely ripped the lid from the box that the phone came in and now verizon will not take the phone back, because the upc code is technically of the box. I do not have anyone to assume the line, so the only thing I can do is cancel the service and pay the termination fee, but I trying to do the economical thing...could someone please make ome recommendations. I till have the lid, box, and original docs. 👀

Are there any indirect employees or store owners out there that could explain to me how you pay commission? We are looking at adding some employees in the near future and I'd like to know how everyone else works their pay scale. We are in the midwest area.

My wife and I have 2 day old 8300s. We live in a strong signal area. We always got maximum signal bars with our 3200s. My wife's 8300 has been showing maximum signal bars since we got the them. Mine, however, showed maximum (4) bars when I first started it up after charging it 2 days ago, but then fell to 2 or 1 bars after a couple of hours of on time. Hers continued to show 4 bars and the old 3200s both would show maximum bars. When mine went to 1 bar, it stopped transmitting to Mobile Web. I took the battery out the next morning and it stayed at 4 bars the entire day.
