Why in h3ll was anyone holding there breath for this one?

I am a current Verizon customer, and I have never had a problem with their service. I am looking to get a new phone to replace a Samsung a670. I think my a670 has gotten fairly good reception although the battery life sucks and the ring tones suck as far as volume goes. Other phones I have had are the LG 4500 which I did not like because the button on the side were too easy to hit and change the mode to silent, Motorola v60, Motorola 120e.
I am looking for a phone that gets fantastic reception and none to few dropped calls. I currently have 4000 minutes on my plan and I am paying $149.99 per month plus tax.

I want to add a another line to this account.

Verizon is telling me that it will cost $9.99 per month for the extra line, and my 4000 minutes will now cost $199.99 in the family share plan.

Is this correct ? I do not understand the additional charge for the same the amount of minutes just because I am adding another line.

Did I read that it was free for the first month?

Second, on new verizon service: is "Get It Now" free of charge for the first month?

In the last two days, I've activated 6 phones from people switching from Cingular and T-Mobile because they're no longer able to roam off of Verizon and Alltel towers in the area. So not only does Cingular have coverage in my state, now you can't even make a call with one of their phones. I'm excited for my next paycheck...

I have the V3c, and I am fairly happy with it. I could be happier, but I'm content. I've read a few of the reviews for the V3m, and I have been pretty unhappy with what I read. All I've gathered, is that honest people think that the V3m is a good phone, but then there are those people who create a review on a phone, give it the worst review ever... Then promote the "SPRINT samsung a900".

Why would they even mention Sprint, in a primarily Verizon phone. (Unless these hooligans actually worked for Sprint)

They may think they are supporting Sprint and doing them a favor... But Sprint people don't understand that talking down about a competitor does NOT make them look good!!!!

My razor has an issue with the clock randomly slowing down, and speeding up. It usually slows when the phone is just turned on but not being used, but if you go into the menu options it usually meraculiously resets itself to the current time. Does anybody else have this problem, or now how to fix it, without having it re-flashed, because I like the picture on my outside display! Thanks

I just ordered my Treo 650 tonight: 6-15-06. Do I need to download and install any updates, eg. Treo 650 Updater 1.04, via palm.com? Or should the phone have all of these updates? Thanks in advance for any advice.

I've had a VZW Treo 700w since February. It's a nice phone but I've found that I don't use all the Microsoft Office features very often. I recently started traveling to European countries (twice a month) that require GSM and will probably e-Bay my 700w soon in hopes of replacing it with a phone with CDMA & GSM (I desire to stay on VZW). It seems VZW only offers a couple of phones with both bands, and frankly I don't care for either one (I desire something thin & robust with Bluetooth, MP3 player, >1000 contact entries, and good camera). I was disappointed the new Motorolo Q doesn't have GSM. Does anyone know if VZW will introduce a new phone in the near future with both CDMA and GSM?? I don't necessarily need a PDA phone.

i think this is a good promo that should have come around sooner. new customers can get this and a free month vcast, making it a great deal. i wish i had a nav capable phone.
