These are quotes on what people are saying about the SLVR coming to Vzw.

"Verizon.... always a DAY LATE (getting models after they have been out on gsm/umts), and a DOLLAR SHORT (gimping phones is the rule and not the exception). If you’re an “engadget tech geek” how are you still using Verizon?"

Moto E815 DOES NOT SUPPORT PC SYNC

I specifically bought this phone, because this damn website said it supports PC sync, meaning i could sync Outlook calendar info with it. Bogus information, BEWARE of the comparison charts... I now have to go through a process of sending my phone back, because of this. And the phone I replaced is not 911 compliant so I will be lost without a cell phone for at least 5 to 7 days... probably more. THANKS Phone Scoop, I'll be sure to not use this site to compare considering I will have to do a double check anyway...

Does Verizon carry a phone that will work well in Germany? Or would it be best to just get one while I'm there? Thank you for any help 🙂

is there a 700w recall that i don' t know about?

...the only reason i'm asking is because recently my 700w has had a nasty habit of shutting itself down after about 30 minutes of idle time (i'm guessing). The only way i can get the backlight to power up again is by removing the battery and booting the phone up again...

has anyone else had this problem with their treo 700? my phone is in pretty good shape - no recent drops or anything of the sort.

any help would be greatly appreciated...

Bahamas - Verizon

Going to the Bahamas for a week with family. Verizon Rep said I won't have service as VZ is not on GSM network. Looking for options. Would like to call other family members in the Bahamas as well as call back to the US. Is renting via VZ an option? Other carriers?

You really seem to be down on Vzw's phone selection. What phones do other carriers offer that Vzw does not have a comparable model (other than the Bluetooth Thing)? 🤨

Verizon has not provided customer call data to the National Security Agency, nor had it been asked to do so, the company said in an e-mailed statement. The statement came a day after BellSouth Corp. made a similar denial.

Verizon / Planned Obsolescence

Can't stand Verizon.

They sold me a phone 2 1/2 years ago. The battery is shot, so I go to the Verizon store to buy a new one.

Verizon doesn't carry my phone anymore more so... no battery. The phone says Verizon on it, I bought it from Verizon, I pay Verizon for service on that phone they sold me, and now I get to pay for wireless service and Verizon won't provide the accessory for me to have a working phone.

I have 4 options

1. the $127 option, buy a new phone, cheapest phone $127

2. the $350 option, buy out the plan at $175/per line

3. $2400 option, sign a new contract for 2 years and get a free phone.

4. $0 option, limp along using phone only when plugged in for 2 hours, until contract expires.

They are using a str...
