verizon needs a $59.99 family plan

both att/cingular and tmobile have a $59.99 family plan for non power users. i have a 3 phone $69.99 family plan with verizon and we use about 300 minutes per month. i would be better off on a $59.99 plan with 500/550 minutes. why did verizon kill the $59.99 plan. my contract is up in 1 year. if verizon doesn't bring back the $59.99 plan then i will strongly reconsider moving to ATT/cingular. they have better service in my area (riverdale ny 10471) which would be a big plus.

verizon please bring back the $59.99 family plan

E-mail sign on

I have not been able to get a function to work on my VZW service and I wanted to ask if anyone else has experienced this or has a fix for it.

When you open mobile web 2.0 or open wave or whatever you want to call it and go to the e-mail option to sign in it has a box that you can check to save your user name and password. I have never been able to get this to work on any of my VZW phones.

Has anyone else gotten this to work so you do not have to enter your name and password each time or is it disabled by VZW for "safety reasons".

6-6-06 - Verizon Gets Something Brand New

๐Ÿ˜ ME! ๐Ÿ˜

So I got the job. Time to join the Empire and snuff out the rebellion. One day I hope to obtain the title Darth Mitch. It sounds kind of sinister, I think.

$2,199 phone from verizon!

so i just went on to my vzw.com account and looked at the upgrade to a new phone option. for some strange reason it lists the Motorola V325 as $2,199! Must be a mistake or something...anyone else notice this insane price? btw i live in wyoming so maybe its just a regional error since you have to put your zip code in before it will show you the phones...just thought this would give everyone a laugh.

Now that I have the oppertuinity, should I?

I am currently a T-Mobile customer and am basically happy with T-Mobile. But my contract is up and I am ready for a change. T-Mobile's handset line really sucks. So I am thinking of either Sprint or Nextel, or Verizon. I am having some trouble deciding between the 3. What would you do? How is Verizon with regards to voice quality? Data transfer? (i.e. Txt msg. speeds. My friend has verizon and I txt her and she won't get it for a long time later. I txt her at 3pm, she didn't get it till 4am one time!!!!) So I am just trying to see what would be the best carrier to switch to...?

Thnx,
Matt

Stolen phone!!

My phone was lost or stolen a few months ago. Moto E815. Verizon didn't care. A friend just had his stolen. Can't Verizon track it with GPS and/or ESN #? They just don't seem to care. I have another Moto phone so it is no big deal. I would just like to track it down. Thank you.

if i could ask a question...

sorry if this is a stupid question, but a friend of mine and i were having an discussion, and i was hoping someone here could help..
i've read many people saying that they use their phones (while connected to their laptop) as their modem for their laptop.
my question is does the cell phone have to be on a wi-fi network, or can the EV-DO be used?
i said it was the EV-DO that does the trick, basically saying that you can be in the car on your laptop, and he was arguing that the phone can only be used if it itself is within a wi-fi network.

I can't believe VERIZON W!!!

Here's a online chat with a Verizon Wireless rep:

ME: I see the Motorola E815 at $219 - no contract. I just signed a 2 year back in november. Is my price to upgrade to the E815 $219?

Verizon Rep: You are able to upgrade after 1 year since your last phone purchase

ME: 1 year? why?

Verizon Rep: That is the policy

ME: You mean to tell me, that if I want to buy a NEW phone, I CAN'T?

Verizon Rep: Unfortunately not at the moment.

ME: UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ME: I really can't believe your statement!!!!

They pretty much refused to sell me a new phone at any price. Is this NORMAL?

Verizon is super scrumdidlyumptious

Now that I have your attention. What is with the 30percent troll population in these forums. Don't they (without nameing names) have anything better to do than complain and try to take away from that which is the nations most reliable network. I guess I just don't understand why when people post positive stuff there is allways a select few who HAVE to try to throw there negative energies. Its kinda funny actually cause something negative that's complete bs again jumping on the bandwagon and VZW bash. These same "trolls" or whatever constantly flood the front page with complaints about no new phones and how VZW is so far behind yet when they release four new phones it instantly switchs to how sucky they are even when they havnt even seen the ...

Bluetooth Headset Help

I just upgraded to the e815 and I love the phone! But the biggest reason I got it was for bluetooth. I just cannot find a headset I like at all ๐Ÿ˜•

I got the moto 850 headset and the volume is too low and it feels like it falling off my head cause it's so damn small and light! I am thinking of looking at some that go behind and into the ear. I think I might have better luck with them.

So does anyone have any suggestions? I don't need something flashy or cool, I just want one that will work .. and work well ๐Ÿ™‚ I always keep it in my car so I am not wearing everywhere.

Thanks!

Motorola Q Question!

Now I was watching a video on the Q from CNET. Ed Zander, CEO of Motorola, said that on his Q he has TV. shows and movies he said that he just plugs it into his dvr and selects the one he wants to be on his Q. On the list of features it says Video formats supported: H.263, MPEG-4, GSM-AMR, AAC, WMV. Can we do that with the Verizon Version?
