Verizon New Every Two Program

Hopefully, someone can help me understand Verizon's NE2 program. My company has an agreement w/Verizon for both corporate and personal accounts. There was a $100 allowance for new phones under NE2. I recently received my bill $230.56. I was charged $123.08 for two Motorola e815s. If there was a $100 allowance, why was I charged full price? I realize the phones are discounted and the sales tax is my responsibility, but where did the $100 allowance go? I've talked to several people at Verizon's customer service, but they won't budge. Any insight anyone, especially VZW reps can give will be appreciated.

signal deterioration in warmer weather

Unfortunately my home is in a weak signal area (A Verizon rep told me that their are some plans to put up a new tower "3000 feet from my house", but not until next year at the earliest).
I have noticed that as the warm humid weather starts to set in, the signal has become even worse. Seems it's the worst on the hot humid days. Signal is virtually non-existant at these times. Is this typical, I didn't notice when I was with a GSM carrier that weather conditions affected the signal as much.

E815 as a PHONE not V-Cast

Other than Motorola's old flimsy charging connector, is there any reason NOT to own a E815 for use as a PHONE? I have no interest in listening to music, bluetooth or watching TV with a magnifying glass. No V-Cast thank you. I'm just looking for a flip with good RF, long lasting battery, large color display and infrequent camera use.

Recommendations will be appreciated.

Convertor for the RAZR Headset please?

I posted this in the RAZR forum but wanted to see if the general readers here had any help or opinions on this matter.
Sorry for the double post.

I will not use Bluetooth because I have not found one that I like. I own 6 very good headsets from my previous phone and want to use them with my RAZR.
I went to e-bay and bought 2 adapters from some site there. They were awful. Distorted sound, over modulated and there was nothing you could do to control the distortion level.

So my question is this: Is there a reputable source that sells adapters for the razr that actually work? I will sell the phone and buy an LG with a regular headset jack if I can't find one.

I even bought the crappy wired headset that Motorola makes for the RAZR and...

Treo 700 nothing compared to MDA

it may have the look of the professionals but i dont think it stacks up. first and foremost its not data capable.. so it may not be able to recieve a fax for all the business oriented people... also no wi-fi... so no networking or meetings at starbucks or hanging at the mall on the internet. stuck paying a rediculous charge for a data feature of plan... unless your on a business account. forget about custom written corp applications because no java and also games... you really cant customize it to have your own programs run on there..... its a good phone but not a great phone like the MDA

Phone delivery dates to stores.

I have been looking at the Q as a way to carry only one device instead of a PDA and a phone.

I was in the local VZW store and was asking about buying one when they came out. The manager said "we don't know when we will get them, but we would rather you buy here than on line and we will call you when we get them".

So my question is this, do the stores get the phones early and hold them until release date or do they just get them whenever.

I wouldn't mind helping out the local store and give them some business if they will have the phones a couple of days after they go on sale on line but I don't want to wait two or three weeks for them to get them.

It would seem that they would get the phones at least a couple of days early to...
