i just moved to riverdale and the signal in and around my appartment building (in the appartmanet and on the local street) is around 0 to 2 bars. i called verizon cs and they said i had a tower .5 miles from my address.

this is in bronx (riverdale) ny and in a heavily populated area. can a high population lower the signal strength is to many users are accessing the tower?

When is VZW going to come out with another phone of this quality. I mean, even without the memory slot, bluetooth, and vcast, it was still a better phone that whats being sold today imo. An that screen!!!!!! Why cant the other phones have a screen that size and resolution quality? And best of all, it let you remove the stupid ERI VERIZON WIRELESS banner from the screen so its not covering the boobs of my homemade Carmen Electra wallpaper! 🤣 🤣

The North Americas choice brochures are a little vague...but from my understanding, basically they only enable you for free long distance to Canada and Mexico. If you're roaming in those areas you're charged 0.69 per minute? The brochure states that you get unlimited DOMESTIC roaming...Does the definition of domestic include all areas outlined on the coverage map? (Canada, US, and Mexico) or does that only cover US with Canada and Mexico being charged roaming?

Ok im looking to upgrade my phone i do this every 2 years. Now i what i want.... I want a phone where i can hack. I want to be able to watch movies on my phone i want to listen to mp3s i want speaker phone i want blue tooth. I want a good display. I want a good cam. I am willing to waite a few more months if anythign new is comming out. So far ive seen a lot of hacks for the LG8100 and the Moto e815. Both these phones are kinda old now. Samsung has a few newer ones idk if im crazy about them but i havent seen many hacks done to them to get extras. With the evdo stuff it would be awesome to be able to hoot it up to my laptop and get free internet but i heard with the new versions of the firmware on the phones the fixed the hole.... okay, now that I ticked some of ya off I seriously have to ask, what's the big deal on the bluetooth profiles? So you get to xfer your ringtones/midis back and forth on the phone, so what? the E815 has a nifty litle work-around for that (not tellin, and it doesnt involve SENDING the message, for those who know). Phone books can be xfered with the data cables, and you know, if you havd some 4000 contacts, honestly, get a flippin laptop or a pda device. Bluetooth is great for the earpeices, even better for the car-kits (the fewer estrogenated psychos in Lexus's i need to dodge on my way to work/home/etc the better). I really need an international Blackberry and Im currently on verizon. They do not have an internatinal option so I thinking of getting the Blackberry 8700c on cingular. What does verizon have against silder phones? I see many good solid sliders from other carriers and never any from verizon. I know your answer is probably that the K SE47 did not sell or perform as well as they would have liked but if all the other carriers are selling their sliders well why would verizon not think there is a market for them?

ive been with verizon for 3 years and i love the service but lately ive been looking at nextel. now i KNOW this would be a dumb move to go from verizon to nextel. 1 because the coverage is way less, 2, because my family is on verizon, 3, most of my friends are on verizon...

but the phones on nextel are so cool!! i love the i930. that phone rocks! they also have unlimited txting for 15 bucks....please someone talk to me and give me more reasons why i shouldnt switch over!

Has anyone gotten this in the mail yet? I got mine yesterday, and it seems like a pretty decent deal. I have already took advantage of it. Just curious if anyone else has gotten their cards yet and what people are thinking of it.
