i noticed that the samsung 950 has only one entry for each type of home, office, fax. i think only cell had 2 entries.

my old lg 4400 has 2 entries per phone type. is there an update from samsung or verizon to allow 2 entries per phone type in a persons phone book record?

Man I can not tell you how upset I am right now with Alltel's retail store. Their CSR is awesome but there is a retail store where I am located and a rep there has a thing out for me. I am an indirect Alltel store and this guy I guess is cahllenged that I know more then he does and he will do anything to make me look bad or upset me. I have a personal account with Alltel as well as a business/employee line. Well I go pull up to the store this pas Sunday to get a firmware/software update on my Nokia 6255i. Mind you this software has been out for about a month or more now so every Alltel should have it.

Ok, I joined VRZ back on Nov 26th in 2003, I'm already available for my $100 towards a new phone, I'm curious to know how long will the $100 last for? 6 months? just till the end of 2005?

I heard that you have up to 6 months after to receive your $100, I also called and spoke to a CS rep and he told me that I have till the end of 2005, but he didn't sound to confident about it, I spoke to a sales rep at a VRZ store and he told me that there is no time limit

I'm waiting to compare the new phones that VRZ has coming out, so I'm trying to wait to get something I really will like

OKay so before i get balled out for not "doing my homework" and looking it up, i'll have everyone know that i did look up stuff and didnt find anything... ANYWAY does anyone have a further updated date on the release of the razr?

I've been with Verizon since 11/04, which i came from Sprint. I'm a firm believer of cell phone insurance and that it's worth the $4/month. Sprint's previous policy was that you could sign up at any point, but would have to wait 30 days before you could start using it. Coming to Verizon, I didn't realize that their policy was that you had to sign up to the insurance within 2 weeks of purchasing the phone. There was some problems when I first purchased the phone online (Audiovox 9900) due to backorders, so I had to deal with a rep over the phone. At some point during the process, the insurance was not added. I didnt realize this until a couple months later. At that point, I spoke with 2 sups there was nothing that could be done. I'm thinking of buying a LG VX8100 full retail, but I had a quick question that maybe some of you had some info. on or experience with.

I have been reading the forum posts, and it seems that the RAZR and a new Nokia will be coming out within the next month or so, both of which I think will be too expensive for me to consider buying full retail even though they both seem cool.

I really like the 8100 however, and I know it's at about $300 right now. My question is, with the release of those new "high end" phones that will compete with the 8100, do you think there might be a slight price drop in the 8100? I know even if there was, it might not be much, but even $50 would help, and if this might be the case I think I could force myself...

My NE2 date is approaching and there are 3 phones which interest me, the A970 (already out), the 6256i, and the RAZR. Each has pluses and minuses regarding features, but I will have to try each to see what functionality I can get from the Bluetooth link with my car, an Infiniti M35, and my Palm Tungsten E2.

Does Verizon limit the number of 15 day trials of phones? I am tempted to try each one and then choose the one which works the best for my situation. FYI, Infiniti has the V3 listed as compatible (I'm not sure whether that will hold for the V3c) and VZW has the A970 listed as 'pending" for the Infiniti.

Okay so after spending 2 days with it, here is some more.

The talk time is astounding.. I got 3 hours and 35 minutes yesterday with Blue tooth turned on as well.. Holly smokes, I have never seen a phone get talk time like this.

I started to use the goto button tonight and reconfigured the goto list.. It's very cool. You can make the list have anything you want so things are easy to get to.

Answering the phone closed with speakerphone is turning out to be nice.

The outside display is great. It has lots of icons and graphics are very good. You can put pictures there etc.. You can also see it when the light is off. The LCD is very nice.

Button feel is superb. You can really feel the key when you press it and you can dial however ...
