when the Android update for the HTC Droid will be out?

Hello. I out of my t-mobile contract and i'm trying to decide where I want to go next.

T-mobile really screwed me with my Samsung Memior. Any e-mail i wanted to view would be charged as a text message and deducted from my month text allowance. Does this crap happen with verizon? I'm looking to get the Droid and was wonder cause I really like the idea of roll over minutes with at&t. but then a lot of the people i talk to are on verizon so i guess it wouldnt matter.

Appearently the specs on this device aren't that different from the Nexus One. 3.7in AMOLED screen, 1GHZ processor, Android 2.1

Is it just me or is there a delay in text's with VZW Blackberries vs. other VZW phones? 😕

It's not much of a delay but I swear other VZW phones I've had are just a little quicker. 🤨

I am a new customer, coming from AT&T, my first day with Verizon was yesterday and the service is great, whats not so great, the $10 data for 25mb, with AT&T that $10 got me unlimited data,I do not use data that much anyway so I did not think it would be a big deal but it turns our 25 mb is a joke. I got on line for about 3 minuets just to so how much faster my new service was and yes it is faster but in those three little minutes I used 3.659 mb, so this tells me that the 25mb package is not really good for much, wounder why they push this on people.

Hey my friend was just trying to switch their phone a few weeks ago and when they tried doing it over the phone with that "3" button. They get the message of "if switching phones, the insurance may be voided off" did anyone else get this too? Why is Verizon doing this??

Do we know how long this will last on the smartphones? I'm hoping it will go to next weekend as my NE2 is then. Also, will they let me use my NE2 on my wifes phone instead of mine? They used to but I know things have been changing lately.

Quick question for anyone who knows...

My son's contract was up and he wanted the DROID. I saw that all smartphones were buy one get one free so i thought i would be able to get the free phone activated on my line, as long as I signed a new two year contract. He was able to get his phone, but the people at verizon said that i couldn't get the free phone on my line because my contract wasn't up yet...is this correct?

I was reading on Phandroid.com that they HTC Incredible is coming out around the same time as the Nexus One to the Big Red. Can someone explain to me the difference between these 2 phones?

I have an original Curve and it is starting to fade so I need a new phone and wondering when we can expect to see the Tour 2(Bold). I am trying to hold out until its release but I am struggling because phone is not sounding too good on my end. May have to bite the bullet and buy the Tour original. I entertained trying another format but hesitate because I like how BlackBerry works for me. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or information.

Is anybody else haveing bad reception with this phone, I have had Verizon for over 10 years and have never once had an issue with reception, just want to know if anybody else is have the same issues and if they know if there is a fix that maybe a service center can do.

My wife purchased an LG ENV-3 in-store in December '09 and opted for the $10 data plan, although she was told it was not required for that phone. Now it seems it may be a requirement, unless I'm mistaken. So my question is, since she has not been making use of the data plan can she cancel it since it was optional when she purchased the phone?

I'm talking about the beep callers would here if they called you while you were already on the phone. Did they remove that? It always annoyed me that people could tell if I purposely ignore their call while I am talking to someone else.
