What does it take to get a tech support rep to send a field rep out to check towers??? Everytime I call them about a problem Im having they always say its the phone and wanna ship you out another one...IT'S NOT THE PHONE!!! I have a BB 8330 and my ma has a EnV3. Now if we are both dropping calls, can't send or receive pix, and can't use our phones in certain areas of the house then it is obviously more of a network issue...not my phone. Now according to the coverage map we are suppose to have superb talk and data coverage where we live. I am tired of this nonsense. My mom is gonna hang tough with Verizon but Im not...I gotta switch. I have a Motorola T605 Bluetooth car kit (Part #MOTBT605CK bought through VZW) in my 2002 Ford Explorer. It worked perfectly with my XV6800, but now that I have the Touch Pro2 with WinMo 6.5, I can hear callers perfectly but they say that I sound like I am under water.

All callers say that I sound bad to them. How can I improve the TP2 voice quality over BT car kit connection so that callers hear me clearly?

Looks like I'm switching to vzw. At protest mind you. No offense, but I've been an AT&T guy for years. My wife is insisting. Her family doesn't want to pony up for text messaging to other carriers. Either way, I'm switching.

I'm looking at the LG Envy Touch, and the LG Chocolate Touch. I'm neither here nor there on a physical key board as apposed to touch. I was curious how you guys viewed these phones in comparison, and if either have had a warranty stressed track record.

Also, my wife is a state employee. To get a discount, does the account have to be set up in her name?

Ok, I know nothing about prepay. My nephew had a prepay phone, lost it, bought another one, then found his first one (in say a 3 month period). He gave the second one to my mother, who just really wants something she can open and dial "in an emergency" which will probably be never. The phone shows a balance and a payment date of 3/24/10, but there's no # attached to this phone anymore and I'm not sure that balance even exists. Do we just buy her a prepaid card and it will somehow also give her a phone number? Or can this phone not be activated?

Tell me...My aunt who is also a vzw customer received a coupon in the mail for $75 off a smart phone however she already bought the Tour so she figured give it to me...I tried to go online to the website on the coupon and it asks for a cellphone number put mine in and got invalid cellphone number....Figuring it had to be her phone number entered hers and got the same thing...Would I be able to use this coupon by calling the sales area when I buy my phone next month?

I am up for my NE2 and really want to get the ENV Touch but I need to know the answer to a question first. My wive currently has the ENV3 and she is not being charged the required 10.00 useless data plan on our family plan. My question is if I upgrade using my NE2 I know I will have to pay 10.00 a month for the useless data but will I also have to pay for her line since her phone requires it now? Im new to the board but i cuurently have a bb tour with no wifi and i get horrible reception at my office because of the tint on the windows ive been told ? i see that the newer bb phones such as tour 2 and storm 2 have wifi even a curve 2 if wifi helps with my constant dropped calls !! will this improve my reception while at work since we have a strong wireless signal at the office i work in ?? i have an upgrade available to use if wifi will help ? Someone wants to sell me a Storm 2 on this site....Now I am due for my annual upgrade in march and I also have a $75 off coupon towards any smart phone. Should I buy it off this guy for $120 including a blue tooth headset or just buy it from Verizon when I am due?

Well I did it folks. I made the decision to get the Storm 2 and couldn't be happier. Now I know there is a learning curve and am going to give it my all to love this phone.
