AC and LG VX6000

Friend of mine needs to know what the national coverage (Americas Choice) is like with the VX6000 (CDMA 800/CDMA 1900 - NO AMPS).

Is there a map of digital only coverage or is the entire AC digital so that the VX6000 will work where its red/pink?
Also, is the mobile to mobile map they have in the AC brochure the digital coverage verizon owns?

My friend says thank you in advanced.

corporate security

VZW employees should not be on any message board talking about upcoming products, programs, or sharing any information that has not been released to the public...check the confidentiality statement you signed when you were hired. I definitely understand coming on to this website because we can access it from work, but it will only cause customer's expectations to be set unrealistically. If you don't think IT is monitoring these sites and the web, you are mistaken. We have great jobs, don't jeopardize yours because you want to pick a fight with an uninformed consumer.

questions re Verizon service and features

Can one use the phone as a dial up for Internet connection as part as the unlimited nights and weekends via USB or data cable or do you have to pay for ANY web service on the phone only like with ATT?

Does the $5 on the phone web fee cover all Internet data to the phone unlimited? (If so this creams Sprint's $15 charge)

Is the ETF prorated over the contract period?

Is there ever a charge for roaming within the home network system as represented via the maps on other than the Single Rate Plan? Sometimes one an be in an area of map indicated by solid coverage and still get a roaming signal. Even in the center a large metro area. Im guessing whenever the phone says roam...you are being charged .69 a minute, This is pretty scary and co...

LG VX-7000 Officially launches June 25th!

I made my way out the store this afternoon to make a bill payment when I overheard some talk about the LG VX-7000. I got involved in the conversation with the reps and out of no where, the manager brings the store demo phone out for the reps to play with. I got my hands on it and it's a beauty. They told me that Video Messaging was officially launching on June 25th with the VX7000 being the launch phone followed by the Audiovox CDM9900 (no date on that yet). Video Messaging will be billed the same as Picture Messaging and will be part of the PIX package. They also informed me that the LG VX-6000 is on its way out, which is why they're offering a Buy One Get One Free on it. They said it isn't advertised in the Region (From NY down to VA) but ...

V60s Dead

I don't know what happened but my V60s is completely dead.

I had it charging most of the day, and about 5 min ago I got a low battery warning. I turned the phone off, took out the battery, then reassembled it and tried to turn it on and nothing happened. Its like theres not even a battery in it.

I then tried plugging it in and nothing happened. Its not even saying that its charging.

HELP!!!

My phone is used for business and I need to be in contact with people!

Sick of waiting, what about the V600??

It wouldnt be so bad for me, but currently I have no phone, its been about
10 months since I had my Nokia on AT&T, and I have to get a phone very soon.
I have been holding off for the 710 or the vx7000 for months now, with false
hope from all the BS realease dates. Anyways, I would like to be on the best
wireless network, but waiting for a good camera/bluetooth phone is killing
me. So what about the V600? AT&T is offerering $50 rebates for web orders currently, and it looks to FULLY support Bluetooth. Anyone have any input on the V600? My other question is that out of all the subsribers on this forum and Howard forums, there is not 1 single VZW employee in the testing dept. thats willing to shed ANY light on the progress or est. release...

V710 Potential Loser?

(this was also posted on the V710 forum but it would be terrific to hear from a VZ expert here)

If it's taking Verizon so long to test, test, and re-test this phone, does that indicate that it's potentially going to be a loser?

If the phone just won't meet VZ standards does it go back to Moto for a makeover?

On the last call I made to *611, I was told it may be released in August. AND, when I asked about the Audiovox 9900 the rep never even heard of that phone. Neither have many store managers (I've called so often I have to keep disguising my voice, lol)

Back on point, are phones selected for release on a regional basis?

I'm new at playing this waiting game for a decent phone so please pardon me if these are simple-minded que...

Pinpointing Coverage

Is there a resource available to pinpoint Verizon's towers and which signals are available for specific locations?

We switched to VZ in January and we get spotty coverage and dropped calls in Chicago, especially in our home near Wrigley Field. Former carrier was Nextel and we rarely had a dropped call or no signal. That said, we're now committed to VZ and aren't planning on switching back.

Does the quality of the phone dictate the strength of the signal? We have two phones, LG6000 (digital) and the Audiovox 8900 (tri).

TIA for your input.

A670 out of stock?

Hey Guys, I got one question, I was at work I know poor me has to work the midnight shift. Anyway I saw when they took down the VZW website and when it came back up the A670 one of the phones everyone has been waiting for was on the site but it said OUT OF STOCK. Now how could they put a phone up on the site and it be out of stock already? Not sure if the webmaster messed that up or were people reserveing this phonen or something. This is confusing me

How come VZW does not use Sanyo phones? From what I have seen they make a great phone.

Beware of the Samsung a670---It Lies!!

🙄

Read the fine print: "and video-clip recording." Big word here; RECORDING. It ONLY records...and doesn't send (so no video messaging). So if you want to jump into the VZW video fon dont jump at this one because the only person that will get joy from your 12 second recorded video is you.
