Moving Ring Tones

I recently got the LG VX4500, I used to have the 4400. It is a nice phone wish it had a camera but what you expect for 50.00 thru insurance. lol Anyway my question: Is there anyway to tranfers downloaded ring tones to the new phone? VZW cust service said no that I would have to redownload and pay for them all over again. That seems like a rip off being that I already paid for them. Any advise would be helpful

Renewal question

Hey All I got a question being that they are alot fo VZW reps on there. I have the LG VX4400 and the phone is having problems. I called the insurance company and opened a claim but I did not submit the 50 yet for the replacement phone which woud be the vx4500, because I was waiting for the new phones to come out. My question is being that I do have a claim open with the insurance company if I choose to cancel the claim and get one of the new phones and extend my contract for another 2 yrs. (trying to wait for the a670) Would I have to pay full price for the phone or could I get it at the current promotion, what ever it may be at that time?😕

Hate my T-730

😡
I am on my second replacement of this phone since September of 2003. The phone has a mind of its own.
Should I take it back to the VZ store for a software update?
How does the VZ insurance policy work when you lose a phone that is no longer offered in their stores?
Did they pull this phone because it was a bomb?

Help would be appreciated.

Cell Towers

Many counties/cities/and districts have banns on cell towers being placing within their boarders. I highly recommend being active in your local government and letting your local planning commisioner know that you want to allow cell towers in your area. This will assist VZW in giving the best service posible.

Porting In

My girlfriend and I are going to Verizon very soon but we have a small problem and it's not really a big deal. At this time, we have 2 separate tmobile accounts. However, when we move the Verizon, we've just decided to put it into her name but that poses a problem. I've been told, when porting, Old Service Provider information needs to match New Service Provider's information.

Just wonder what I can do to try and get this resolved. However, I work customer care for nextel and I've seen port ins happen with no problems with husbands accounts but porting number from wife's old service provider.

Sincerely,
Cephiros

Off-Peak hours

I'm presently with Sprint and I've been considering switching next month once my contract is up. I've had Sprint for 4 yrs but recently I've been getting more and more dropped calls and my signal strength is good. So one of my co-workers suggested I try Verizon and I've looked at the rates which are competitive but I DON'T LIKE the unlimited nights starting after 9 instead of 7 p.m has anyone heard of Verizon moving thier time up like some of the other carriers?

Technical question

I was wondering if anyone had noticed this, but it seems that phones that use GSM networks have a much longer battery life then thos phones which use CDMA. Now is this merely a coincedence, or is it an inherent property of the protocol.
Thanks

VRZN want family business?

I want to add my parents onto my Verizon plan but I don't see any value in doing so. I like my service but it is expensive.

My AC plan is the 500 min/$49.99 a month

One current AC Family plan has shared 500 min and is $59.99 (+$10 a month from my AC plan) plus $20 + taxes for the 2nd or more line(s). WHAT ADDED VALUE IS THAT? NONE? đŸ‘ŋ

A year ago they had a 800 shared minute ACF plan that was $59.99 + 20 + taxes. 😲

I get the feeling Verizon doesn't want any family business. What deals have they been offering behind the scenes?Has anyone got a sweeter deal from them? BTW- I don't give a hoot about calling other family members so that means nothing to me.

I'm currently Mo/Mo with them and looking for something back...

Anyone get a Verizon yet bill this month?

Was there a flyer in it?? There's a post on HOFO that a flyer was sent with bills, which has on it release dates for several phones. Can anyone confirm?

Pay at VZ Store in New York

I was recently interviewed for a job in a store and was told that I had excellent credentials.
I have a lot of retail experience and was asked to come back on Wednesday for a final interview with a store manager.

Question: What is a fair hourly rate for me to ask for (I currently earn 14.00 per hour in my present job).
Also, what is the upside earning potential?
Lastly, do they (after time) ever let you transfer to a store closer to home?

Thanks!

the 1rst Time

I've had my VZW phone for about a year and a few days now, and yesterday for the very 1rst time I saw "No Service" banner 😲 instead of the VZW banner, what happened was that I went to Lowe's and as soon as I entered the store my call dropped, a person working there told me that no cell phone works in the store due to all the metal, so I felt better, I was worried for a bit, since it is very, and I mean very rare for me to have a dropped call, when it happens it's usually on the other end. (Hint: sister has T-Mobile he he)

Verizon just bought up some spectrum in Arkansas

They spent just under $8 million for spectrum in Little Rock & Pine Bluff. I believe that these people are currently served by the ALLTEL roaming agreement, but I could be wrong. At least now VZ can get all the revenue with the Arkansas folks as native subscribers, not roamers...
