MOTOROLA WORLDS WORST PHONES

In a recent study Motorola was found to be the lowest grade phone in the market today. Even the regular "Can and String" seem to work better than any Motorola wireless phone. Surprising results show that no matter what they tried the phones just broke and broke and broke. Even the strongest super glue could not hold the infamous Antenna on these phones. The US goverment has decided to send these junkers to Iraq to for a quick sell to the al quida and terroist groups to use. This might just help them win the war on terror. Consumers are strongly advised to watch out for these decieveing electronics. One spokesman said "your better off buying a telegraph machine". So watch out and be smart dont waste 300 bucks and stay tuned for more info.

CDMA/GSM phone

Hmm, this is interesting... a CDMA/GSM phone coming out from Motorola... but it lacks AMPS, so it might not be for Verizon.

You guys think they're will be more models like this in the future?

Why the process fee??

I have had so many people complain about this I thought Id at least give some sorta reason and also cingular charges 18 bucks.......................Well the reason why they have upgrade fees is because the wireless providers do not make the cell phones. No matter what company gives the phone they lose money. Its a "investment" that will cost the company and no matter what a customer thinks these phones are not sold to the wireless provider for pennies. In europe they buy the phone usually at a much higher price than what US customers would even pay without a contract or discount. They take the new phone to whatever company they want and thats that. The wiresless provider knows they wont get blamed if the antenna falls off with 6 different ph...

Using S46 in Germany?

I have Siemens S46 with ATTWS. Phone has European GSM 900mhz. It's not unlocked. In April I plan to visit Germany for a few weeks. I would like to use the phone while in Germany for calls to/from US and within Germany. If that at all possible how'd I go about that?

Will ATTWS unlock the phone or should I resort to some 3rd party?

What's cheaper: to use ATTWS international rates via ATTWS SIM (still need to unlock?) or buy some prepaid SIM in Germany (if so which one?)?

Or is it cheaper and less hassle just to rent a GSM phone? If so where?

I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thanks!

This web site - images

Quick question for AT&T employees:

Are you having any problems with the images on this site not loading today? I made some server changes to help speed things up. For the most part, it's helping, but I've received reports from a couple of AT&T employees saying that images have stopped loading for them.

If images are just slow to load, that's a different issue (but I'm working on that, too).

Thanks!

New PCO Rules

I gotta ask about something that is really bothering me, how many of you have used that damn E-signature thing, it's ****ing horrible, most customers I talk to are completely baffled by thier voicemail and that thing is REALLY out of thier league, so every damn time I have to extend a contract 2 years I have to transfer another poor soul into the labyrinth, And A certain MO came over to my row yesterday with a big goddamn sign telling me to put my customer on hold for 4 minutes while he made this pitiful little presentation about offering PCO's to people cancelling evin in the case of customer death, sales pitches for the Dead air verbatim, luckily he stopped short of having us actually phone customers randomly and ask them to renew, I mean ...

One or Two year contract?

All you folks out there, the way the cellular things are now, you would have to be insane to pick a " 2 year contract". Yes you may save some money by doing so. No matter how a company treat you, it's a great feeling knowing you have the option to leave in 12 months.
Since 1996, I have had three different carriers, and I've found out that it pays to do your research.

Sorry to read this...

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.—Consumer experience research firm Vocal Laboratories reported Verizon Wireless received the highest customer service quality rating in a recent survey comparing the quality of customer service of AT&T Wireless Services Inc., Cingular Wireless L.L.C., Sprint PCS and Verizon Wireless.
The report noted Verizon Wireless received a top score of 43 and was awarded an “A” in caller satisfaction compared with Cingular’s score of 25, Sprint PCS at 14 and AT&T Wireless as minus 5.

“The four companies differed on their ability to handle customers’ questions,” Peter Leppik, chief executive officer of Vocal Laboratories explained. “Verizon Wireless successfully answered customers’ questions 87 percent of the time on the first ca...

AT&T Next Generation National Plan

😳 I was wondering if you can use all of your features in this area? For example Western Wireless is quite a bit of the purple on the map, is the grps features seamless or do they even work or do I get billed roaming?

defeat, you don't have to pay for anything

They HAVE to give u that code. They are losing so many customers a day, who cares about losing one more?
I don't care about companies which had to flee from latin america like rats involved in corruption and bankruptcy scandals, bought for nickels by the mexicans...
I just care about people like u, Defeat, who feel they are trated like sh*t by such a crappy carrier.

Chicago AT&T Wireless GSM?

Can anyone tell me why througout the Chicago area and other parts of the country, there always seems to be a weaker signal for AT&T Wireless's GSM service as compared to T-Mobile GSM service? My customers hate the coverage in the high rises downtown. The customers who come into my southside location have weak signals in the homes too. Seems to be the same in the burbs as well. I heard its the same in different parts of the country too. I turned off my AT&T line last year because my T-Mobile was getting such a better signal in my home.
