ATT Brand

I know this might be a stretch asking but I've noticed a lot of you work for ATT and was curious as to how strict the new brand is. I've seen the old brand guidelines and was wondering if any of you could pass the new one along.

WHAT THE HE(double hockey sticks)!!!!

Ok, so I know most wireless employees/customers don't give a crap... But I am one who does. Does anybody have any info on a rugged phone coming to ATT??? I was a nextel customer for years and then worked for verizon through college and I have always had a rugged phone (personal use), but my roommate worked for ATT so I switched for a N75. I've had nothing but problems and am going to switch back to verizon for GZ if att is not going to release anything...Anybody got any info? I LOVE att b/c of their 7nw, and their rollover, unlocked phones, etc etc etc, but I work outdooors and live in the outdoors and this sort of phone would be a huge plus...

3G phone with MediaNet?

Currently I have a MediaNet plan with my 3125. I'm looking at buying a 3G phone. If I buy an unlocked phone and just plug in my SIM, will I have 3G?

I know that officially a full data plan is the "correct" plan, but i was wondering ...

Question For Sony Ericsson Users.

I have a dilemma. I absolutely LOVE SE's UI and most of their phone models. I have a W300i which I'm happy with and I like two or three of the newer SE models as well. Now here's my problem: A few months ago I installed Sony's Disc-2-Phone software to upload music and pics to the phone. Everything worked fine for a while, but then all of a sudden, I couldn't get on-line with my computer! I kept getting the same error message (can't remember what it was). Anyhow, after doing a search on the web from my work computer, I found out that the problem was somehow caused by the Disc-2-Phone software. There were several people out there with the very same issue and every one of them traced it back to the D2P software. I actually had to reformat...

Yeah, the iphone is cool. But is it a good PHONE?

I have held and played with enough iphones to know that they are really cool. I love the UI and all the fun things you can do with one. My main question is this...is it a good PHONE? By that, I mean how is the reception and the voice & sound quality? I love the fact that it's wi-fi and the ipod feature seems pretty impressive. But my number-one priority is it's ability to be a good phone. Would I be disappointed?

Any new phones coming?

I am getting ready to switch from Verizon to AT&T in the next month or two. My problem is picking out a phone. IMO AT&T phones suck right now. Not into the iphone, the only other phones I like right now are the Samsung slider A737, and the SE w580i. But pretty sure the w580 is out because I've heard horror stories on keys cracking. So finally my question 🙂. Are there any new phones coming out soon that I should wait for? Or should I just stick with the Samsung?

It's about time.

I'm ditching the GoPhone, and am going under my fiancee's at&t acoount. I want a PDA phone with touchscreen, camera, video, music, internet. Should I get a Treo 680 or an 8525?

#G Areas

When is 3G service coming to Dayton Ohio. I know Dayton is in line to get Uverse in the next year or two. The new mobile tv network is already built in Dayton but needs final FCC approval. So whats the 3g hold up.

Downside to unlocked HSDPA phone w/ATT?

If I don't want to wait for one of the new HSDPA phones to be offered by ATT, is there a downside to buying an unlocked one? Aside from cost, of course.

The reason I ask is that I have an unlocked phone now (QTEK 8500 flashed to the i-mate s/w) and some functions aren't available to me, at least as far as I can figure out. Sending pictures is the one that stands out. Seems the gateways aren't configured properly and I just gave up after a few hours of messing with them.

I'd like to use the new phone for GPS as well as all the other goodies.

Will I have issues? Might be safer just to wait ...
