Today we just rooled out a iphone protection plan. It's $69.99 and it covers the iphone for 1year for any repairs and 2 yrs tech support. It comes in a white boxs so look for it when you buy your iphone.

I had at&t (THE ORIGINAL BLUE GUYS) and we ended up owing them about 600.00, It never got paid, went on credit, blah blah blah....

This was about 6 or so years ago...

Would the new at&t (2007) make us pay that amount still, and a deposit, or just a deposit, or possible nothing?

For the past couple months I am seeing incoming calls which I KNOW went to voicemail (i.e. calls from a landline to get my messages) which are being charged 1 min of time.

Is this a new policy? I do not have an extended ring time - system default.

Any help would be appreciated,

I am a TDMA customer and waiting for the Q4/07 or Q1/08 phones to come out before deciding to switch. In the meantime I just got a mailing form AT&T to upgrade to GSM for a free nokia 2610 or an LG CU405> the LG requires that I get the $9.99 Media Net feature. Plus, they offer 200 extra minutes a month for the first 12 months or a $25 credit. I would rather get a more advanced phone than the ones offered. Hopefully this offer is valid on other phones also. Maybe the offers will get better as February draws closer. 🙂

Since most of you are know more about these smartphones than I do 🙂 which one will be the best smartphone?

I have heard the Blackberry Curve 8310 with GPS will be released next month. Is there any word on the Blackberry Pearl 2, Motorola Q9h, or the Blackjack 2 release dates? I also have heard that Windows Mobile Phones are not that good, with alot of freezing and stuff. I have heard excellent things about the Blackberry Line 🙂 So let me know what yall think.... Palm is out of the question: freezes too much and does not have a good battery life. Those two things are key for me.. They can make or break it...

i was talking to a customer service rep and they said that i can add unlimited media net package for 19.99. i was puzzled because i thought that you couldnt add that plan and i wanted to make sure so i called another rep and asked them that and they said i could so i wanted to know if anyone can verify that because it would be cool to use media net with the charge.

Did you read the thread on the main page that said Sony, Motorola, Nokia, etc. are going to a universal charging port? What does everyone else think about this? I think it will be great for the customer, but could hurt us on the sales side. Just wanted to hear some other thoughts.

I need to get out of ATT/Cingular because I just can't get decent service recently.

My new house is in the "best service" zone according to that useless "locator" thingie. Problem is - I'm lucky to get 2 bars in the middle of the night - inside or outside the house. Mostly it's garbled sound, dropped calls and "Network Failure."

Also, at work my phone now seems to like to go to "911 only" mode. And I have to restart it to get 5 bars. But in the meantime I was unreachable.

So - what do I have to do? Do I have to call CS every time a call drops and complain? How soon before they let me go for free? Can I make a case that their service locator is a blatant lie?

There was word on another wireless forum of Cingular having 3g service launched in Cleveland and Columbus, OH. Also word of the 3g (umts) coverage expanding quickly into other metro and even outlying areas.

Does anyone know when it will actually be listed on cingular.com or when 3g phones could become available in stores in areas where it has been 'soft launched'?
