I am STILL 🙂 looking into getting a smartphone. I have seen the new motorola Q9h and I love the way the home screen is set up where you can see how many texts and emails you have but more importantly, you can see what appointments or what you have to do for the day. I was wondering, can you do this on the blackberry curve? Thanks 🙂

Verizon Choses LTE For 4G

Thinking about switching to At&t and these are the 2 phones I'm considering. Any suggestions which one is better? Or the IPhone?

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Apple Inc (AAPL.O) said on Monday it has sold its one-millionth iPhone, a few weeks ahead of schedule, reassuring investors who had worried that last week's price cut signaled weak demand for the phone.

Apple's shares, which fell more than 9 percent last week following last Wednesday's price cut announcement, rose as much as 4 percent in morning trading on the Nasdaq.

Apple cut the price of its first mobile phone to $399 from $599 and said it would sell 1 million units by the end of September.

Pacific Crest analyst Andy Hargreaves said Apple's ability to reach its target early was partly related to the price cut.

does any one know how much the htc kaiser(tilt)
will cost and when it comes out?

I was listening into a conversation between some of my higher ups. They were saying something about AT&T focusing more in higher end or business phones (Blackberries, Kaiser, HP's all upcoming phones) in order to steal these higher ARPU customers from the other carriers. I think that if this is true, it is a great tactic considering how Verizon (#1 competitor) is lacking behind. I was looking at the phones that have been released after the iPhone, and the ones still to come, and it kinda proves their point of view. What do you guys think?

The FCC filing for the HTC TyTN II, filed in May 2007 but under confidentiality agreement until recently contains six User Manuals. Browsing through these User Manuals reveals that the first one, "KAIS100", has several mentions of MyFaves, T-Mobile Hotspot login screens, and t-zones. There are also several screenshots in the User Manual showing the HTC TyTN II sporting the pink and grey T-Mobile USA theme.

Cingular rep here trying to find out if theres any way to get edge on the v3s. Anybody seen this done????

I have been researching smartphones for awhile and everytime I think I have found the one I want, here comes another one I like even better. I saw the pics of the new Motorola Q9H and I love the look of it. However, I am a razr owner and cant stand the POS phone 🙂 I have also seen pics of the new samsung that may be the blackjack 2. I like the look of that too. I guess I like the Windows Mobile on these phones 🙂 also liek the blackberry curve 8310 that is supposed to be coming out soon 🙂 I need some helpful info 🙂 I want a phone with a good battery life, which I am hoping these new phones will have and hopefully no freezing 🙂 LAso, any release dates for these phones.... thanks guys....

I have heard great things about both the curve and the pearl. I am torn between the new curve that is coming out and the pearl 2..... Any help from blackberry vets would be apprciative 🙂 thanks guys 🙂

is wifi like blue tooth does it drain the battery in the phones? just a thought, cause many new phones are coming out with wifi and I know that the blue tooth does drain the battery a bit more than when it is off. But then again, it does make the connection much faster than edge. I was thinking of getting the curve, but now the 8820 has wifi and the curve does not, and I think that is why black berry's do not use 3g and they use edge to save battery, anyone have any Ideas?

anyone recommend a bluetooth headset? i've heard some people have had problems with a few.

I'm an AT&T rep and I just have to say that the worst thing in the world is when a customer waits around and calls Insurance/Warranty in the store. We do not do the exchanges in the store. The people on the phone do not want to talk to us. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go home and call so it's not all awkward while we sit in silence as you make your claim. I can't stress that enough. Do any other reps get customers insisting that they call here in the store even though this has nothing to do with us?

The 6230 has now been discontinued and is effective immediately! Phones are to be sent back to Nokia asap. Word just came out about an hour ago.
