Iphone and Live TV

Does the iphone get live TV like some of the phones on Sprint and Vzn, if not is it because at&t does not have HSUPA deployed on a nation scale like EV DO on Sprint and Vzn?

Painfully disappointed....(no dont worry, its not an iPhone thread).....now what???

i cant believe im sayin this, but i hate the 8525. ive had it for about 4 wks after using the treo 650 for a lil over a yr, and damn dude, i completely dislike the 8525. i read a lot of reviews about it (phone scoop, cnet) and i was VERY surprised that not many people mentioned how its COMPLETELY inoperable w/ one hand

i tried really hard to like and learn the phone, but it just aint cuttin it. read my review and youll really see the specifics....BUUUTTT.....

i ordered a treo 750. i really hope its the perfect blend of palm and windows. i like WM5, but i LOVED the simplicity of the palm OS. im not a business user, but i do teach high school so i def need email, internet, calendar, task manager, easy organization, etc...

anyo...

Apple does not have a Patent on the touch screen technology

Thats the only real thing the Apple has that the others don't. But it will be common place IF it turns out to be a good thing.

The rest is "sort of". It sort of has BT It sort of has MMS It sort of has a SIM card....

It's sort of a rip off really.

My review on the iPhone

Today I went to the AT&T store to play around with the iPhone. Me, being a total phone junkie, observed closely the aspects of the iPhone. So here's my review:

First of all, I'm gonna say that it's not a PDA at all. It feels more like a regular phone that happens to have a touch screen.

The QWERTY keyboard was not as bad as I had imagined, but still pretty bad. I made many mistakes (repeatedly as well) and it took a long time just to write something quick. The layout was good however, and if they had made the same design into a hard keyboard, it would have been stellar.

The web browser was fine, but far from perfect. For one, I couldn't log into Phone Scoop. It froze. But the rendering was good, and pages loaded fairly fast consider...

AT&T Employees Screwed iPhone Customers

Folks, the local AT&T store has lost my business forever.

Yesterday, I lined up at the AT&T store to get an iPhone. I was the 21st person on line.

At 6 PM, they started letting customers in 2 at a time. After about 20 minutes, two customers walked out with iPhones. Another 15 minutes later, another 2 customers walked out with iPhones. (How on earth it takes 35 minutes to ring up 4 customers, I can't understand.) During that time, no one else was allowed into the store. Not even customers who weren't there for iPhones. They turned away at least 10 angry people who wanted accessories/assistance in the time I waited in line.

After that, an AT&T employee came outside and said they were all sold out of iPhones. But they offered to let ...

At&t smartphones that are compatible with Macs

Hey, I am looking for an at&t smartphone that is compatible with a mac. I want it so that it will sync all of my contacts and notes to my computer. I was leaning towards the iphone at first, but the curve looks to be a much better value.

Is the blackberry curve compatible with a macbook? And if so, how will it sync the data to my computer. I understand for windows, it syncs to Microsoft outlook, but what does it do for a mac?

please help.

maximum lines in family plan

Wanted to add my 4th child to our family plan today. With wife and three other kids we have 5 lines already on the family plan. Online was unable to add sixth line and this was confirmed by Att phone support. Is there any way around this? Will cost me alot to add my son as a new individual plan. Can any exceptions be made to this rule?
