Apples Fault, NOT at&t's

I've been reading reviews on the iphone and how people have been complaining about the slow speeds presented by the edge network, when people use their iphones. It is at that point when reviewers, and critics start to blame at&t. However, I do not think this is at&t's fault. at&t does have a 3g network, capable of the fast speeds many people are looking for, however, apple designed there product to use the older, slower network. So people are getting what apple designed their product to use, a slower network, not the choice of at&t though. Apple maybe should of invested in making it a 3g capable product, its not like it wasnt an option. People should realize, it would be just the same had it been given to verizon, and offered on one of thei...

Apple plans cheaper, Nano-based phone: JP Morgan
Mon Jul 9, 2007 9:36 PM BST
Email This Article | Print This Article | RSS [-] Text [+] NEW YORK (Reuters) - Apple Inc. (AAPL.O: Quote, Profile , Research) plans to launch a cheaper version of the iPhone in the fourth quarter that could be based on the ultra-slim iPod Nano music player, according to a JP Morgan report.

Kevin Chang, a JP Morgan analyst based in Taiwan, cited people in the supply channel that he did not name and an application with the U.S Patent and Trademark office for his report dated July 8.

Apple filed a patent application document dated July 5 that refers to a multifunctional handheld device with a circular touch pad control, similar to the Nano's scrol

Porting son's T-Mobile number to my ATT family plan...

Is there anything tricky about porting my son's number, who's a T-Mobile customer, to my ATT family plan - since his old account is in his name and the new account (with his ported number) will be in my name?

What I'm trying to figure out is whether I can add him to my family plan, porting his number, by myself, since he lives in another city. I'm curious as to whether he'll actually need to go to a store with me to make this happen.

Thanks!
Laura

good riddance sprint

I have only been with sprint for 4 months and the signal strength is really great but the billing has alot to be desired.

I have had a billing issue every month that I have received a billing.....may, June and now July...

I switch last month to a higher number of minutes and they neglected to advise me that i would be billed for a prorated amount plus the next month billed charges. so instead of getting a billing of $90, I got billed today for $175.

when you call customer service you has at the mininum of 15-20 min wait. i went into a sprint store and there was 4 other people complaining about their bills too.....

I am gone, and I will be more than happy to pay the early term fee....

SPRINT HAS PROBLEMS. I AM WITH ATT NOW....

Curve & iPhone on EDGE ?????

Just wondering if anyone has a reason as to why AT&T continues to release it's "best" high-end phones (Curve & iPhone) on the EDGE network instead of 3G. I'm with another carrier and have considered switching to AT&T to get the Curve but it would def. be significant step backwards in terms of network data speed. Currently have EVDO smart phone and am a pretty heavy data user. Just curious as to why phones as advanced as the Curve & iPhone would use EDGE technology. Thanks for any replies.

Checking your minutes.

(I am new to AT&T Wireless.)

When you check your minutes, it tells you that you will be receiving a text message enclosing the details of your remaining minutes. Does AT&T Wireless charge you for these messages? (I used to be with T-Mobile and they never charged for messages they send to you about your account.)

Thank you.

Grr...

Ok, I am a AT&T agent, and I am really starting to think about this Sprint cutting their problem customers off and actually agreeing with them. At first i was like wow thats pretty harsh, but now, after today, Its just i have customers coming in complaining about the phone, and how they dont like the rate plans and how we cant make a phone that last forever. Just blah blah blah, and it really is kinda annoying me, i wish we can just say as well, well im sorry we are not satisfying your needs and we will just discontinue, cause obviously we are not the right provider for you. I WISH i can say that as well! Ok sorry just thought i would vent for a change. 🤭

What gives (Curve)......

Really, how good is the Blackberry Curve?? Almost all "professional reviews" I have read has said it is an "good" phone, but lags in reception/call quality (compared to recent new releases) and the camera, which both are important to me. With consumer reviews, I have read amazing things on phone scoop, including how good the camera is and how they are getting great call quality even in the worst of areas, but only mixed reviews on cnet. I have also heard mixed reviews about the quality (i.e. screen breaks after a 3 ft drop and dust underneath the screen) on all sites. So what gives? Why are professional websites like PCmag, cnet, etc saying on thing, but then great reviews on here?

Thanks for any insite....

Anyone here from Market 35, Looking for some Dealer Input

Hello, I am located in market 35 in a very rural setting, low population and am looking for anyone in my market to give me some tips with regards to feature sales. I am afraid if we don't get our feature sales up we will be canned. Right now our best selling product has been prepaid, we do half as many prepaid as we do contracts and upgrades. If someone wishes to have this chat private that works for me as well.
