Attention all at&t retail!

As -some- of you know, at&t just bought out a smaller carrier, Cellular One from Dobson Cellular Systems. I am one of those guys that will be part of your family in a few short months, and would be really interested in learning a thing or two about my new employer!
Please email me if you are interested in helping quell some of my concerns and answer some questions about the company.
I am a retail manager, so I encourage help from reps and managers alike!
thanks in advance for your help!

I joined the iClub today

yup i finally got my iphone and while its to early to write a review; heres what I think so far.

design- amazing. I love the simplicity of it. the screen is beautiful beyond words.

keypad- its alot easier to type than what I thought it was going to be. it takes a bit of time to get used to but all in all im impressed. I had no issues texting or typing in web addresses.

camera is pretty good. unlike other phones, there isn't any options, just one button to snap the picture.

youtube works great. videos load super quick and look amazing on the screen.

internet (safari)works surprisingly fast on wi*fi/edge I love the full html internet. much better than any other phones internet I've seen and being able to zoom in on links an...

N95 or keep waiting??

I need a device that does EVERYTHING. I travel 4 days a week, and my phone needs to be a music player, email, camera, gps, game boy (rarely), a phone (of course), and basically something to fill countless hours of boredom!!!

I wanted the iphone, but I'm on a business account and can't use it. I tried the 8525 and Treo 750 and just didn't like the overall comfort and battery life of either option.

I went to the Bjack and loved it until I got my hands on a Curve, but now I'm looking for even more. Call me spoiled, demanding, or crazy but I need something with like the N95 or the iPhone.

Bottome line, should I wait for something to come that satifies all of the above or do I spend the money on an N95 and wallow in my own tears when I ...

never though i would say this.

but I'm considering a iPhone today. If you all are familiar with my posts; you already know in the past week or two ive gone through a blackjack (75$) and a curve (317) both of which were defective and are completely useless to me. So what I'm thinking is return the iPod video I just got like a month ago (Sams club's return policy is 1/2 a year 😁) then, 317+75+250=642$ more than enough for a iPhone !! I don't know I've been thinking and it seems like the most dependable and best made products were made by apple; and I'm starting to see what all the hype is really about. People are excited about finally, being able to get a quality phone. Now I'm still not sure if I'm getting it, first i have to check it out at the store and see how easy typ...

New LG Touchscreen phone LG KU990

any one with any info..? US availability..? which carrier..?

Article pics..

"It looks like LG is getting set to release a new Prada-esque keypad-less phone, with its hereto unheard of KU990 model recently landing in the hands of the folks at Clipset.net. Apparently, this is one of the forthcoming YouTube-enabled handsets recently mentioned by the company, meaning that it'll not only be able to play YouTube videos but let users submit videos to the site straight from the phone as well. Otherwise, the phone's big selling points are its ample 5-megapixel camera and HSDPA connectivity, not to mention its sizeable 3-inch touchscreen. Rounding out the specs, you'll get a built-in FM radio, MP3 player, microSD card slot, and an array of pre-l...

ok I got the blackberry curve today, I love it except for one MAJOR problem... every time I make or receive a call, or try to go on the internet, the phone just restarts. I was in the middle of a call and it just restarted every time I tried to reconnect. And now every time im on the internet it restarts. after paying 317 bucks for this thing I'm extremely frustrated. has anyone else had this problem??

Voice Dialing

I see that AT&T charges for voice dialing. Does that mean that if I get a phone that already supports voice dialing like the V3i that I still have to pay for the feature? Are the AT&T phones crippled so the native feature in the phone is disabled? Or do you just have to pay for the feature on the phones that don't already support voice dialing?

Questions From A Switcher

Hi,
I'm a current Verizon customer who is getting ready to make the switch to AT&T for the iPhone. I had a couple of questions before I purchased that I was hoping some of you could help me with.

1) How often can you upgrade phones with AT&T at discounted pricing? I know Verizon was very strict with their 2 year upgrade plan and you could only get a new phone at a reduced price after 20 months and if you renew your contract.

2) Does the above apply with the iPhone? I understand that right now you can go out and buy an iPhone since there is no discount and get it activated on your account regardless of when you last upgraded your phone. Everyone is saying we'll see the Rev. 2 iPhone in 6 months to a year with new features and I'd like...
