Weird/funny

this is kinda weird but once u think about it it makes sense. Isnt this the RAZR3? As V3 was the first one and the RAZR 2 was the V6maxx (V3,V6,V9)? 😁

How Often Can I Upgrade My Phone?

I'm kinda new to Cingular/At&T. I was with VZW for years, but I switched over about 5 months ago. I'm just currious...how often can you upgrade your phone with AT&T at a discounted price? I always had a 2-year contract with VZW also, but they allowed me to upgrade at around 21 months (can't remember exactly when, but that's close). Does AT&T do anything like that? Thanks in advance.

Verizon Wireless added 1.3 million customers in Q2
Thu Jul 19, 2007 12:59 PM BST

NEW YORK, July 19 (Reuters) - Verizon Wireless, the second-biggest U.S. mobile phone provider, said on Thursday it added 1.3 million customers in the second quarter, and ended the period with 62.1 million.

Verizon said its additions' figure reflected 300,000 users who quit the service.

Verizon said its growth was achieved through "strong gross add performance and continued low retail postpaid churn."

Verizon Wireless is owned by Verizon Communications Inc.(VZ.N: Quote, Profile , Re...

Laughing my >>> off

I have a customer that went to equador and used her phone racking up $80 in roaming charges, and she is on the phone $^#&$ing out customer service saying that she didn't make the calls, threatening to press charges. Customers think they can get away with anything sometimes. 😁

Sorry Customer care, but didn't want to put up with that.... πŸ˜‰

Hello and LG Trax

Hello everyone. I work at an AT&T authorized retailer and I'm new here. I have to say that AT&T/Cingular is THE best service out of all the different providers. I don't want to pay the early termination fee for Verizon so I have to carry two phones.

Anyway, I figured I'd let everyone know that the LG Trax aka the LG CU575 just arrived at my store. We got a few of them so whomever updates the site please put the phone as one of AT&T's released phones.

I'd just like to personally thank....

All of you donut munching, barrel assed, pod pulling, sissies that decided that we didn't need our billing system today.

You just took $100 out of my pocket, pissed on it, and lit it on fire. Imagine how much money you're costing how many people across the country right now.

To at&t's IT dept. Screw you. You're about as worthless as tits on a boar.

iphone too powerfull for Duke...Cool

RALEIGH, N.C. - Apple Inc.'s flashy new iPhones may be jamming parts of the wireless network at Duke University, where technology officials worked with the company Wednesday to fix problems before classes begin next month.

Bill Cannon, a Duke technology spokesman, said an analysis of traffic found that iPhones flooded parts of the campus' wireless network with access requests, freezing parts of the system for 10 minutes at a time.

A single iPhone was powerful enough to cause the problem, and there are 100 to 150 of them registered on the network, Cannon said. Network administrators have noticed the problem nine times in the past week.

"The scale of the problem is very small right now," said Cannon, adding that the...

Legacy Blue ATTWS customer - what are device options?

Hi,

I'm a legacy Blue ATTWS subscriber that has a plan that is much better than anything Cingular/New ATT is offering. I've currently got a GSM device and ATTWS Sim. I'd like to upgrade my device, preferably to something that would allow email/web surfing etc. I've been told by Blue customer service that a phone that was sold by them (before the merger) would work if I put my SIM in, but they wouldn't tell me what that list included. I'm also curious about Cingular phones and also about unlocked phones. Anyone know what my options are for device and whether i could use 3G or only EDGE with a legacy Blue SIM??

FYI, I was told I could only add "PDA Connect" packages to my plan (i.e. 59.99 for unlimited).

Thanks!

Apple Iphone is illegal to use in NJ in the car !! $ 250 Fine!!

So yes the new law is in effect.. You can not dial the phone while driving.. Big fines apply. This makes having the Iphone in your car a liability - See below -

More important is the Iphone does NOT support voice dialing which would allow for LEGAL dialing while driving..

Iphone is the only current phone in production that does not have voice dialing. It's dangerous and they should be stopped from Selling devices that are dangerous.

Here is the Law -------

Cell Phone Legislation: Don’t Drive and Text in New Jersey

New Jersey passed stronger legislation for road safety. It is against the law in New Jersey to drive and use a hand held cell phone. The legislation extends to texting while driving too:

BLACKJACK - What's It Going To Cost Me?

So I'm considering a blackjack. I've found a local retailer who will sell me a new one with 2-year contract for $74.xx. Question:

Outside of my minutes plan, in order to fully use this item for email, web, etc. what do I need to add? Media Net Unlimited for $19.99/month?

Clueless newbie looking for suggestions for best data plan for Nokia E50 and Cingular/ATT?

I may be going at this backwards, but I found the phone I wanted and bought it unlocked: Nokia E50.

I do not have a carrier but plan on signing up with Cingular/ATT.

Here's what I want to do with the phone: (1) phone calls (duh!); (2) receive POP3 email with PDF attachments (push would be nice but not necessary); (3) some very minor web surfing (like checking the looping radar weather map, maybe a Google search, etc.).

Here's what I do NOT want to do with the phone: (1) text messaging; (2) send photos; (3) VPN support not needed

I Googled this topic and came up with some messages which I really didn't understand. I'm trying to figure out which would be the best data plan for me, MediaNet, Smartmail, or a PDA plan.

Also, I wa...

No More LG Phones on AT&T?

Today, I saw that there are no LG phones on the att.com website, personal or business. Even the 3G phones (CU400 and CU500v) are gone. Could this be the end of LG phones for AT&T? Has AT&T dropped LG like a bad habit? Will Bob get the promotion? Tune in to find out the answers to these questions and more.

No, really. What's up with the LG phones disappearing?
