Has anyone noticed that lately hold times for all departments is much longer than normal? I don't remember the last time I had to wait 15 min to talk to a care rep.

I am very bummed. I waiting in line 15 hours yesterday to get my iphone only to activate it this morning and have ZERO coverge in my house. zip code 61021 Does anyone have any suggestions before I call it quits and return in minus my $60.00 for restocking. If i do have to return it. Do I just go back to apple store or do I have to call AT&T as well to cancel service.

Does Att (cingular) have a Cap on how much data you use under there Data broadband card plan?

Live verizon says unlimited but there is a cut off at 4 or 5 GB.

Or is it like sprint, truly unlimited?

i live in grosse pointe, mi outside of detroit and my family is on a plan with at&t. this morning everything was fine. we were getting 4-5 bars like we always do. then all of a sudden, we all get no service. i called a few friends with at&t in the area and they also have no service. this is the second time this has happened in this area. has anyone heard of something like this or know anything about it? thanks in advance.

Much ado about nothing. It is fun to read the defenders who did pay $600 for a pig in a poke though. Not many will admit they jumped too soon.

As my other posts states. I must return my iphone as I have no coverage barely at all on my street. Will AT&T ever be adding more coverage? Or are they done with adding and now just enhancing? Just curious if anyone has any insight on this.

I have been reading a lot of iPhone bashing on this board and I just don't understand why.

Ok, I will admit that the omission of 3g and such are a big disappointment and the price is a little unattractive...BUT...

The thing is COOL!!! There are no two ways about it! I spent a lot of time using our display models and I am very impressed. The UI is very fluid and usable, the transition from edge to wifi is seamless. After two days I am fairly used to the on screen keyboard. Whether or not you are a fan of Apple or At&t you have got to give credit to Apple for breaking all of the barriers of what a cell phone is, and you gotta hand it to At&t for breaking a lot of the unwritten laws of how carriers sell phones (i.e. no carrier softwar...

I have, what probably probably seems like a stupid question about Blackberry's Treo's and similar phones....

Do these phones have the same capabilities as a Desktop or Laptop computer such as paying bills online or picking your lineups for fantasy football ??

I was thinking about buying this type of phone so I could choose my fantasy FB team lineups (if I am not near my computer) or paying my bills.

You guys who are paying 500-600 dollars for a iphone and signing a two year contract. I am sure you will keep the phone atleast that long since it is so expensive. In two years technology will have advanced so much and with the iphone not being 3G, is it going to be outdated in a few months? What do you guys think.
PS - The people who already own the iphone, is it easy to set it up? is web browsing superior to other phones?

At least that is what I am saying to the millions of people who call me asking if we have any in stock.........

I can send/receive things via Infrared, but not with Bluetooth. Is a cool phone like this not capable of BLuetooth OBEX?

I was watching tv today and a commercial came on showing people at a concert talking on their AT & T phone. At the end of it it shows a phone looks like a Samsung brand possibly.It has a very large external screen. Does anyone know what it is? I want to look it up. Thanks!

So I get there @ 6PM..I was only like the 10th person in line and it took me an hour and 10 minutes to get in. There were letting only 1 person in the store at a time, which was crazy, even if you were a couple/married they would only let one of you go in at a time. There were reps in my store just standing there drinking water doing NOTHING to help. So I get in there, they said they only had 6 of the 4gb versions and they sold out, so I had to get the 8gb version... okay, well im sure people have asked this question before. my family is changing providers, probably to at&t. verizon sucks ass in broomfield so we got let out of our contract with no termination fee.

Please help me decide on which phone to get.

my top 10 choices are (in no particular order):

now, re-arrange the phones listed and if possible explain why you like them/dislike them. thats all i need for now.

Since the Iphone has the added advantage of being instantly eligible for an upgrade, it is feasible that if someone asks for the iphone at your agent location and is eligible for an upgrade or starting a new contract that you can set them up with a free phone as a back up or for another line. They could then go get their Iphone and keep their CU400 or whatever in a drawer for a rainy day, or better yet sell it and make some cash back!! This way its a win win situation for agents and Cor. 😉

Ok, here's the set up:
I've got an old moto v551 locked to cingular. It started crapping out on me. Mind you I've had it for nearly two years, and it only sucks now because it took a few bad falls. (antenna)

I bought an unlocked moto v551 for cingular used in brand new condition. It's in AMAZING condition for being used.

I have a USB cord, but the software I have is HORRIBLE! Can anyone walk me through getting all my vids, pics, ringtones (at least the ones I made) and games off? (I'm only HOPEFUL about the games.)
