Samsung C417 branding?
I was looking at the samsung c417, and noticed on the website that the c417 has at&t branding, as opposed to most of the listed phones, which still have cingular logos. does this mean that if I were to purchase it, it would come with at&t logos? has anyone purchased one over the past few days that could let me know? I'd like to get this phone, but I'd prefer having the at&t branding... thanks

I know that nothing has been confirmed but from your opinion, do you really feel that the v9 will in fact come to AT&T?
Also, I have read that the v9 is a maroon color. I really hope that if AT&T does get it that they make it gray like the v8 and v9m.

I post this in here because you guys are more level headed....
im currently with verizon they have good service in my area, but their damn UI is killing me...its so fugly/crippled and im just sick of all their lame phones. anyways do you think they will ever do away with their lame ui, or should i just give up on them and port to cingular?????????? anyone from Seattle who can tell me how the service is? any input would be appreciated thanks

Treo 750 "clicking" sound
I have a new ATT Treo 750. Each time I hit Start, or a Program, or a Setting, there is an audible "click." How can I silence that? Thanks.

No edge service on my 6126?
So I have noticed I have no "E" on my Nokia 6126 only the "G" symbol. Anyone know why this would be? I have a 3g sim card. And I am waiting to Denver, CO gets 3G before I upgrade. Any ideas?

Good experience with Customer Service
So here is a quick explanation of what was my issue....
When I logged into my account it showed that I was eligible for an upgrade, but every time I went to a Cingular corporate store, they would tell me I wasn't eligible. So I called customer service, explained my situtation, and problem solved. The rep made a note in my account allowing me the upgrade through the store. Good job!
Some of you are wondering why I just didn't order it online, well I just didn't want to wait for it in the mail and there is a cingular store about 2 blocks from my house so it was just easier.

1 year contracts?
Are 1 year contracts still available with ATT/Cingular? I heard they were supposed to be done away with but telesales and most reps still offer them in stores... anyone know the official word?

Why do we have to pay to change our nyumber and why dont they offer insurance on all their phones???
I was wondering why do we have to pay 36 bucks to change our phone number? When I was with sprint i could change my number for free all the time. And why is it that Cingular phone insurance does not cover ALL phones??? I was considering switching but i want the red pearl or the curve.

I am trying to:
Flash my current phone, or get a phone which has menu options in Polish. So instead of English or Spanish, all the menus would read in Polish. Is there anywhere I can go to have my phone flashed to that?? Any help would be appreciated. TIA

Funny how in the newest ad featuring Tiger Woods he's using a Cingular phone. A Sync to be exact..
How was it missed? Could it be that BBDO also does OnStar ads and they had some SYNC's laying around?? Although meaningless to the casual observer, I find it a huge mistake.
Just my 1/2 cent.
