Mobile Termination Charge on calls to South Korea

On both Cingular World Connect and International Dial Standard a Mobile Termination Charge is being applied. Can anyone tell me how much this charge is. Is it a per minute charge? I'm thinking about signing up for the CWC plan to call a mobile phone in South Korea. The per minute rate is $0.11 but no info as to the mobile termination charge amount.

I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks,
RB

Does anyone have proof of an unlimited text plan?

I am just wondering about that...

I work in beuc and no one has heard anything about it. Were had training on new plants that are starting the 23rd, where the 3000 txt message plan goes to 6000 and etc, but nothing at all about unlimited.

I just want some sort of verification if anyone knows anything about this, maybe a csp resolution number or something

Several customers have called in today about it, (i havent even taken a call in a couple days, but ive been up smeing) and its kinda hard to address the questions when no one knows anything about it, no team leads, not evn our manager.

Warranty exchange, how to get a different model?

My Samsung sgh-a707 crapped out after 4 months of light use. It won't place or recieve calls or messages.

I called the warranty exchange and they're sending me a new one, however I don't want this to happen again, I'd rather have a different phone.

Is there anything I can do to get another model? Can I bring the unopened new phone (they're sending me the WHOLE PACKAGE) to a cingular store and exchange it for soemthing else?

Thanks for your help.

WiMax vs HSDPA

Given the upgradability of HSDPA, which one is faster? As fas as speed, I think HSDPA has the advantage, but is so, why is WiMAX considered 4G if it is slower?

Launch2Net Help

I recently downloaded Launch2Net to tether my LG CU400 and iBook G4. All of the reviews I have read state that it is simple, and that the program basically walks you thru the process. Well, after I downloaded it to my Mac, it said that it could not find device...and logged off. I had Bluetooth activated on both my Mac and phone, but it still did not work.

I am fairly new to tethering and Macs, so could anyone please help out? Thanks.

GSM Unlocked Phones Question

Currently my friend is with Suncom and a piece of junk phone. Wish to upgrade to newer and nicer phone.

Options
1) Stay with Suncom and get phone through them
2) Move to Cingular
3) Get phone off unlocked gsm website (quad band) and port over to Cingular
4) Go to somebody else all together like Vzw, Alltel, Sprint

As for unlocked GSM was looking at QUad Band since Suncom uses 1900 but CIngular uses 850 mhz

Possible phones:

1) Samsung D900
2) Nokia N73
3) Sony Z710
4) Nokia 6270
5) Nokia E70
6) Samsung D600

No Contract

I am a Tmobile customer considering switching to ATT/Cing. I have several unlocked quad band phones so I do not need a phone from ATT. Can I get service, not prepaid, without a contract since they will not be subsidizing a phone?

BLACJACK OR PERL. STILL NO DEFINITIVE ANSWER.

😢 😢 😢 😢

This is a follow up to a previous post because I did not get any helpful infomation.

I currently have the black jack. And it's a pretty good phone. I just need to know if the perl is better. I bought the v3xx about 4 weeks ago, but added someone to my account, and gave it to them, and got their discount...

Quirks That Annoy Me On WinMo5 and on Blackjack.

1. Ringtones Too Quiet For Me (V3XX BLASTED RINGTONES)
3. Screen Too Small
4. Cannot display pictures properly as wallpaper/cuts them off.
5. Even though its thin, it's just a TINY bit to wide and feels bad when holding it.
6. Applications have to be ended, or battery life is horrible. 👿

Are any of these better on the Perl?? Anything ...

Any other agents ticked off about IPhone?

It really pisses me off only COR and I guess online and National Retail gets the Iphone and not indirect agents. Normally I wouldnt care but when a customer is going to have to go somewhere else, I lose commission on that sale and I think its just rediculous that the business is this way. anyone else feel this way, or relieved that your not having to sell it?

/End rant

Who needs cell phones when you have CB radios

Just kidding, I needed a catchy title...

How much is Unlimited Texting going to cost? I actually went over my 3000 texts, and I know some people are going to call that pathetic, but for people like me and my friends, Texting is the only way to get a social gathering together without having to make twenty phone calls, just by yourself alone...just send a text to twenty people, it takes a lot less time, and its easier to give directions to places especially in cities like Houston and San Antonio, and the woodlands.

I need unlimited text like Custer didn't need more Indians...and if Custer had a cell phone, he could have sent a mass text out, and Little Big Horn may not have ended the same way it did...food for thought. Chew on that, sw...
