Does Cingular give good standing customer credits?

Just got off the phone with a gal at B2B CS and she told me that all HTC/Cingular branded devices can use the smartphone plan and dont require the pda connect.. i his true?

Also.. are there any plans other than the BB plan that "allows" tethering?

I currently have the black jack. And it's a pretty good phone. I just need to know if the perl is better. I bought the v3xx about 4 weeks ago, but added someone to my account, and gave it to them, and got their discount...

-A little wide. Thin is ok. This is ok on perl.

... on your plan without calling in? Might you be able to do it over the internet? I just got a new PDA phone and want to keep my medianet plan. Please no brainwashed reps tell me how I should get the $40 unlimited. Cingular offers a service that works on my phone for less so there is nothing wrong for using this service. There is something wrong though with pushing customers to give you more money for the same service offered for half the price to customers who's phones happen to have less keys. It's insulting that they're pushing us for more money without offering more service.

I've noticed that when I call my friends with Cingular I hear a "buzzing" sound on their phone. I was told by another friend of mine last night, that they hear the same thing when they call me. I tried using a "wired" headset and a "bluetooth one", and they heard it both times. What could be causing this and has anyone else noiiced?

Okay, I know that customer's overall should not try to work the system. We all know this, but have you never tried to? You know that we all have at one time or another. Let's just ignore the posts that ask us how to and if you can. The customers have to learn to take responsibility for what they do to themselves as well. If a customer knowingly tried to commit "fraud" on their account but knowingly having a plan that they know they should not have they will "be reprimanded for it". In the mean time "Judge not, est ye be judged." We are all consumers for some company who has practices that we don't agree with, but "grass is not always greener on the other side" so we stay put and just need to vent and sometimes figure out a way around ...

Since there was legislation passed that all phones can be unlocked, will the iphone get away with keeping it with Att and not letting me take it to t-mobile?

is there any chance i could add a line to the 550 Minutes family talk plan 4 phones total?
I have over 1500 roll over mins after only 6 months or so, and i'd like to get a phone for my parents, but want to keep it to the 9.99 add.

I have the Nokia E62 and I like it because:

* I like to text and
* I like being able to type my to do list.
* enjoying the qwerty immensely

I dont really like the fact that :

*it is openfaced - back to dialing in my purse forgetting to lock keys.
*or the joystick ( E61i replaces this)

I am also interested in the 6126 but I cannot find one to physically hold and get the feel of.

* I love the fact that it is a flip and I dont have to worry about the keys.

Any input on which one to have?

Customer calls in to Cingular with a complain because he has 600 dollar phone bill. The customer rep explains that he has used all his rollover minutes from the last few months and that why he has such a high bill. The rep explains that if he agrees to increase the monthly plan to 60 dollars more he will credit the 400 dollars off his account. Customer agrees everyone goes home a winner!

This is listed for the Gainesville, Fl area. The ads says "Floater". What is that? Also, what kind of money can be made in Cingular sales? I currently manage an indirect agent store and make 60k. Think money would be similar? How are they with scheduling?

normally my wife pay per Text use. but recently she has find herself using a little more so I decided to upgrade the feature and now paying $5 for 200 text a month. (All this was done on the Cingular site - dont like talking to customer service) Last night when I was charging her phone, I noticed one of the little symbol is missing. I believe its the GPRS (located on the upper left). I text her phone last night.. and even replied back w/o any problem. my question is, does it matter if the symbol is missing? she doesnt use the MediaNet... and even if she does, i think she only went in there once or twice. I know that symbol is normally there, i just dont know if it gone after i upgraded the text thing. I do know that eve...
