Anyone Know What Features The Next Updated K-1 Will Have And When It Will Be Released?

I was going to buy it.

But will wait if the next version has more bells and whistles..

Anyone know if the next one will have a flash and external music controls?

Phone launches-bad news

No high end phones until the iphone launches. Everything that is scheduled is mostly low end entry-level phones to fill in the holes in the bottom of the phone line-up. After the iphone all of us phone whores will get our cherry popped ha ha. It will be wonderful after I saw the proposed phone I needed a cigarette. I don't even smoke ha ha.

My brain is melting!

I am trying to make sense of Cingular's various data plans because I would love to purchase the Nokia E50 that just recently came in at the flagship store in NYC.

I am not trying to cheat with the plan, but of course I don't want to waste money either.

Does anyone knowledgable about Cingular's data plans have any good advice for me?

I've sifted through these boards & found similar discussions re: other phones, but not about the new Nokia E50 yet.

Anyone?

The customer is not always right!

Has anybody ever run into the customer that comes into the store, tells you there is something wrong with a phone or accessory and just expects you to take their word for it? It drives me crazy. Then they get mad at me because I do some tests to check if there actually is a problem. Then, if for some reason I prove that there is nothing wrong, they rant and rave that Cingular sucks. I just had one of those customers and had to vent a little bit.

Replacement / New Phones help needed!

My ole Sony Ericsson T637 has given me many good years but is dying a slow, painful death (static on all calls). I love the SE phones b/c they just don't break, but the only one I'm considering (SE w810i) has been out for some time now.

Anyone know if any new phones coming out in the next few weeks?

Recommendations? I know the w810i is solid.

Thanks!

Best Phones for signal pulling

Hello

I am about to switch to Cingular from Verizon due to too many problems with customer service and coverage.

What are the best phones that Cingular sells that will pull the best signals? I want a phone that in the back country that can get a signal (provided there is a tower) reliably and have good amount of talk time and not weigh a ton and is reliable.

I like what I see in the Razr v3xx.

Phone for Older Gentleman

I am looking for another phone for my father. He still has the Nokia6010 but he needs a new phone. I want another Nokia for him so he wont have to learn anything new. I invite all suggestions. I tried the 6102i myself and didn't really like the slow GUI or trying to situate the phone to my ear to be able to hear or the low volume. Is the Nokia 6126 the same way? THANK YOU

Check out my awesome plan!

I'm going to miss my Digitel plans once I go back to the US. Do you guys think that Cingular will match these plans? j/k

After making the $ conversions I can say that I get 50MB for about $14 a month. Unlimited SMS and 20 MMS for about $10. And 2,000 seconds for $4 a month. As you can tell most people text and IM here in Vzla. I expect to be back by May. I'm def gonna miss my plan. 😢

Is it worth it? Switching that is!

I'm shopping around for a new carrier. Is cingular worth switching to? I've heard about the echoeing reception, poor clarity, that the claim of fewest drop calls isn't true. What is the REAL SCOOP? How is the reception, call clarity, etc? I live in Olathe,KS (Kansas City,MO suburb) PLEASE HELP!!!!

Data plan "cheaters"?

So, as we all know certain PDA type phones ("Smart" operating system + QWERTY = PDA Connect) required more expensive plans rather than MediaNet. And while there is no question as to what SHOULD happen, the fact is that many customers/users somehow manage to get along just fine paying half the cost for MediaNet unlimited instead of PDA.

My question is not "How do we stop those thrifty bastards?" nor is it "How can we get policy changed?" But rather: How?

How can this be done? I recognize that most new users will be required to have the correct provisioning (especially when ordering online), but how can/does that get changed?

Is it simply a matter of going into the settings & changing "isp.cingular.net" to "wap.cingu...

The sad story of my W600i

Nothing is forever and that seems to be the case of W600i. I cleaned my phone with some clorox wipes (me being a f*** germophobe as usual 😡) Apparently some liquid got inside the phone when I wiped the keypad and now it's showing some weird numbers where the name of the icons used to be. I can't beleive this! I used to clean my phone all the time, but this time I killed my phone 😢 This happened two nights ago. I took the battery out and left it open (hoping that it will dry eventually) but I got home this evening hoping it'd be dried/fixed but still nothing! I have gone through phones pretty much like any other cell phone junky out there. But this phone will always be remembered as one of the best phones ever!
