Since I saw they changed the logo on here but left the cingular website intack. I notice the N75 is AT&T. Now even if this is a name change. I'm still confused about the AT&T phones. I have a family plan. Two of my lines are eligible for upgrades. Been holding out for this phone for a long time. Now if this phone gets branded with AT&T. 1. Will any cingular store or cingular website still sell this? 2. Can I have an AT&T phone with my other 3 cingular phones on the same family plan? 3. Or do I have to purchase a new service line just to get this phone through AT&T? Thanks for any help on this.

I read that Cingular was now selling the BlackJack with an extended battery and door. I bought the blackJack with two battires. Does anyone know if they are giving out the extended battery and if there is a way for me to get one without buying it?

Anyway, I recently unlocked my W600i and noticed a dramatic decrease call quality while using my BT headset. It's not the headset because I can use it with my w810i just fine.
It's very bad. I mean, I could be away like 2-3 feet and it'd be very staticky. WTF? How can this happen?

Corporate reps came to the major grocery store where I work and got people to sign up
So here I am with 5 new lines, no deposit required, everything fine..........WRONG
On one of my lines, my daughter had the $5.00 text msg plan, she abused that, so I try moving her up to the $10 plan. All of a sudden, my account requests an $800 deposit to continue. I call CS to go from one supe to another, nope will waive the fee. So I politely refuse to pay a deposit for some account I have had for 6 mos or more/never late paid
They tell me if I don't pay by the next billing cycle end date, it will automatically cut me off

A friend of mine has the Motorola L2 and for some reason the time change did not take effect on her phone. Does she need some kind of software upgrade done to the phone? I work for Verizon so I'm not too fermilar with how all this works.

So I have been thinking of getting either the S710a or the W600i from eBay. I was wondering which I should go with. I want something a little more unique look to it & great features. These two have the features I know I need/want & that cool swivel to it. I am SET on getting one of these two models, so please do not reccomend some other phone. Any feedback is helpful

I think the new logo in the Carriers list is a little bit overbearing. Couldn't we just keep it Cingular until the transition is made complete to AT&T? All that blue makes my eyes hurt.

Cingular is encouraging feature churn.

All these M2M text packages are designed to boost feature sales. Fine, I get it. This is not as good for sales reps as they want us to think it is.

Every existing customer that wants this will have to remove the old package, (exactly the same but -$5 for m2m messaging) causing a chargeback. This is going to be a feeding frenzy. Every channel is going to be spinning the ever living crap out of everyones features.

Why would Cingular encourage such feature churn you ask? So they can have "record feature sales", (who cares about record charge backs 🙄 ) and these features have a brand new 6 month vesting period.

First of all I must say that this phone is ugly. Second, has anyone received the promo box for it? There is a cool red pen inside!

I'm using Sony's IV835...and it is not working well at all...lots of static and lost connections.... Any suggestions for a compatible headset for the 8525 ? Any input would be appreciated.

If I buy a usb cable for my krazr (how much?) can I then set my own mp3 clips as ringers for my phone? All these rings such and the ones on the site arent much better.

Surely they allow you to set your own, custom updated mp3 ringers.

This really only works with Bluetooth phones that support info exchange. I recommend getting a Bluetooth adapter on eBay. They are super cheap! I got one for $7.49 (included shipping) about 2 years ago. It isn't name brand, but it works perfectly.

Download IVT BlueSoleil software. You can transfer them via Bluetooth right to your phone. Pairing with BlueSoleil is SUPER easy.

The thing I recommend for MP3 editing is a program called WavePad. Just type it in Google & select the first option (NCH Swiftsound). It is super awesome! It is free for a trial period, like 30 days. But once the trial expires I just uninstall it & re-download it again. Works like a charm.
