Telenav Has Got To Go...the iphone is going to flop...

Okay, see I thought we were living in the 21st century, but I guess I assumed to much by that label. I have to say the one thing Verizon has going for them (because their plans are too expensive for the lack there of that you get when you buy one of their 1980's cell phones) is built in GPS with VZ Navigator. I had it and I used it every so often for directions but the point of interest aspect is amazing. I can't tell you how many times and as many cities that thing helped. Like I said I didn't use it so much as for directional purposes but living in Texas it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure your way from Houston to San Antonio or Houston To Austin, but damn, if you want to find something in the Houston area, like a place to eat...

Anyone Use The Sony Ericsson Web Site?

I registered an account on there for my W300i. I thought it might be a fun or useful place to get "stuff" for my phone, but I'm having a problem. When I pull up the ringtones that are available for my phone, I cant get the demo to play on the website. I've tried it from work and home with no luck. I'm not buying a ringtone if I have no idea what it sounds like. Anyone else run into this?

Minutes, Texts, Billing Cycles and Cingular...(Upset)

I have been noticing for a few billing cycles now that my text messages are being billed wrong.
My billing cycle ends on the 2nd of each month. However, when I check my text message usage (as today) they are counting all the text messages I have sent from the 2nd (last day of last billing cycle) WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
My minutes are fine. It shows all my calls from the first day of the billing cycle (March 3rd) but my texts messages are WHACKED! I was like 😳 when I saw I had used 70 texts (36 of them were from March 2nd) WTF???? I feel somewhat cheated... 😕

Text Blocking

Tried Cingular's website, but I could not find an answer to this question.

I have three phones on a Family Plan. Is it possible to block Text Messaging on just one line without affecting the other phones ability to receive text messages? Thanks.

PDA Plan Through Cingy

If I joined Cingular and got a phone like the Blackjack, Peark or 8525, how much a month would an unlimited PDA plan cost me? Would this enable me to browse the web 24/7, send and receive email 24/7 without being charged minutes? And how would I do text messaging or send pics?

Treo 750+MMS+Xpress Messaging

I think I have noticed a flaw in Xpress Messaging and MMS on the Treo 750. I am unable to send MMS messages when I have Xpress Messaging registered. As soon as I re-register and then not complete registration I am able to send MMS messages. I was hoping that either someone has experienced this and or had a fix for this. Thanks so much and I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Pre Paid Sim

I've just returned to the States for a few weeks to take care of some personal matters. Is it possible to buy just a pre paid sim from Cingular? I checked the website and it looks like you have to buy a phone as well. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Voice quality problems between Cingular and Verizon?

I just jumped from VZ to Cingy (Treo 650 to Balcjack).

In general I'm happy so far but I noticed that many of my friends and family who are still on VZ complain when talking to me about voice quality on their side. I can hear them exceptionally well (clear, strong), much better than when I had VZ phones. But they complain that my voice breaks especially when I speak fast.

That happens only with VZ. When I talk to somebody on Cingular or T-Mobile (don't have anybody on Sprint) they have no problems.

So is it a known problem between Cingy and VZ (at least in NYC) or is it Blackjack to be blamed?
