What was Sprint thinking?

You all tell me, what in the world was sprint thinking in aquiring a company that has nothing in common with their technology?

CDMA vs. iDEN?

All it has done is force numerous Nextel customers, who didnt realize how chitty of a network they were on to do some research and switch to a superior carrier like Cingular, and as much as it pains me to say it even Verizon.

Although with all the progression cingular has been making and is looking to make, in about two years the capability of cingular's network will be unparalleled.

when they start offering download speeds of 28 Mbps and 11 Mbps UPLOADS!!!!! your local cable companies and DSL providers wont be able to compete....

Why don't you all jump off of your network and bring in m...

Insurance

I have some questions regarding insurance:

1) does anyone have a good explanation why Cingular doesnt offer insurance on about half of the phones it currently offers?

2) has anyone heard when Cingular may begin offering insurance on some of its higher priced handsets?

3) in regards to the 30-day sign up period for insurance, when a phone does become available for insurance, and a customer has a handset that previously wasnt insurable, does that customer now have 30 days to sign up for insurance, and if so, how are they notified that their handset is now insurable?

Giving Cingy a second chance.

Allright fellow cell phone lovers. I have decided after about 3 years to leave the evil red empire and give Cingular a second chance. I am hopeful that since I had them last, they have made some improvements to their network, and I won't be dealing with a ton of dropped calls like I used to. My question is this: which phone would you guys recommend? I don't care about price, I am looking for style and solid performance. Camera, and some kind of music player. Don't want a PDA just a regular phone. Any suggestions???? Thanks in advance.

Gettin a job at Cingy (help?)

I used to work in a huge third party call center where I sold for Cingy. I was the number one guy month after month after month... I've applied at Cingy once every 6 months after I left and no one EVER calls me. I'd REALLY like to work for a store or something again. I miss it. I'm very well versed in wireless technology with extra knowledge in pdas/data devices.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get my name on the list? I really miss working in wireless phones!

Nokia 6126 set to release in March?

Not sure if this is a mistake or not, but I just read that the Nokia 6126 is set to release March 13th. The date will probably be delayed but I thought this phone was thrown out due to poor testing results???

Asking for phones, Cingular will never get.

I always get, at least, one customer on a daily basis who asks "Why doesnt Cingular have this phone or why dont you guys all carry the same phones?" and after awhile it gets kinda tiring hearing it so much. So I would like to ask my fellow reps what do you do when a customer asks about a European or another carrier branded phone which is not offered by Cingular? ๐Ÿคจ

It was said here
https://www.phonescoop.com/carriers/forum.php?fm=m&f ... »

that phone/store rebranding would be in late March. Can anyone say if this is still the schedule or if any new updates are available.

CS said could be up to 2 years. Just curious since I need a new phone.

Windows Mobile 6

๐Ÿ˜ณ WANT IT NOW!!!! DON'T WANT TO WAIT A YEAR!!! ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Lets move people, get your asses in gear with these ROM updates!!!! ๐Ÿคฃ

I'm very surprised nobody has addressed this yet. Seriously, anybody out there have a roadmap when (IF?!?!) Cingular/ATT will roll out the WM6 updates? I hate the fact that T-Mobile got the coverage for their Dash.

Anyone, anyone? Bueller?? ๐Ÿคจ

W810i NOOB HELP

Hey guys I just ported over from vzw and I picked up the w810i & I have a couple of questions. I heard you can debadge the phone using wotanserver.com or davinciteam or something like that, but what in DETAIL does that do for your phone (what does it unlock or customize)? Which one is better? Which one is cheaper? Any advice on this issue would be appreciated!

liquid damage sticker on V3xx

Hi. Quick question for all moto v3xx users. When I bought mine from the store, the liquid damage sticker was a white one with red dots all over it. Is that the normal color for all of them or does that mean mine was damaged by water. Cuz it couldnt have been because it was like that when the lady inserted my sim into the phone! thanks for any info!

GPS GPS and MORE GPS

Just in case someone else is reading nows how to answer the following two questions:

1.) Will a BT GPS receiver work with Windows Live Search. In the settings it says No GPS, COM1, COM2,...COM9; does that indicate that you can use it?

2.) Is there a way to get a GPS receiver that isn't BT for your phone, BT on the 8525 is iffy at best, so I don't want to waste money on a receiver that is going to do the same thing as my headset.
